Purchased a different brand speaker that was almost 80 bucks more and was so disappointed. So i exchanged it for this new tyoe of jbl and it was the best decision i made. The quality is so much better overall.

I bought the JBL Charge 3 and it lasted around 6 or 7 years before the battery started getting very weak. I went back into Best Buy to compare the speakers to see if there were any new ones that beat JBL this time around. They did not. The Charge 5 is not only better than the Charge 3 I had originally, but it is the best all around speaker when it comes to sound, battery life, portability, and durability. I am very happy with it.

Bought this to use while at the beach. Great sound, holds a charge for a long time and waterproof! Easily attaches to an adapter that fits on the golf cart. Fun little device!

Great sound with impressive bass and clear high notes. Even better when paired for left and right stereo. Battery life could be better when played at high volume but I play everything at deafening levels. I also have the Bose soundlinks but these are a lot louder. Great construction and quality too. Awesome little speaker.

I got this as a Christmas gift, but I did choose it and have been a fan of JBL speakers for a while. The Charge line hits the sweet spot for me, good battery life, portable, and fills small to medium sized rooms well. Upgraded from the Charge3, which was going strong for 6 years or so. Especially on sale, the JBL Charge is a great value

My Charge 5 quit after only four months of gentle use. But, to its credit, JBL promptly replaced it in accordance with the warranty. The audio is great: it easily fills a large room with crisp, clear sound, especially bass. It's sleek and portable. But the jury's still out. I'll update my review after a few months.

Got this little powerhouse sound for my mother in law as a holiday gift. As it turns out, she absolutely loves it. Sounds amazing and for such a compact device it packs a powerful, clean sound. I just had to get one for myself. Its definitely worth getting. No disappointment. Now mt other family members all want one. Lol.

I was not looking for a speaker but heard this is water proof so perfect by the above ground pool. Hugh upgrade from my Charge2. Like this upgrade to 10w separate for tweeter and 30w for bass. I also downloaded a 'bass booster' app which has an equalizer, bass and volume boost adjustments. Of course when using this app and playing it loud the battery will have to be charged more frequently.

The sound is amazing and the product very robust. The battery is very good as well!
