Posted .Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. If you have other charging cables, give them a try. (Be sure that the cable has the same type of connector as the original one that came with your product.). Same for the charger- if your product charges by USB, try a different USB charger. Be sure that it is rated at least 2.0a (2 amps) output. Try other electrical outlets at your location to be certain it is not a local wiring issue. Charge the product overnight for at least 8 hours. Check to see if there is dirt/dust on the charging port of the speaker. Check to see if there is damage/ bent pin/s on the charging port of the speaker. Try plugging the Cable to a Laptop/Computer. If none of these fixes the issue, Please reach out to JBL Customer Service for technical support and assistance. https://bit.ly/3vpj6Dn

Connection issues

But this is about the speaker not the people. The speaker is great. It has a long lasting battery, great bass, and sounds outstanding. The power bank in the bottom has saved my phone from dying multiple times.

Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. Try a different USB cable. Try a different USB charger, rated at least 2 amps. Try disconnecting the cable from your product and re-inserting it. Sand or dirt can get into the product’s charging port. If necessary, check the port and clean it with compressed air or a toothpick. If you need more help, please contact our customer support so we can assist you.

You can try downloading 3rd party applications like an equalizer or a bass booster from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to enhance the sound quality of our JBL Charge 5.

The speaker quality seems to be pretty solid. We have utilized the portability of the unit many times, over the past week. I purchase the camo one, which may have been a bit unusual for both of us, but all of us really like it. This would be a great gift for many different age brackets.

The bass is super low and the highs are really well proportioned. I wasn’t sure this speaker could produce enough sound to fill the room but I was wrong. It most certainly does! I’m glad I bought it and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

It fares well when exposed to dust as well. This is my first speaker of this kind so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I’m glad I bought it. I was able to score it on sale.

He uses it while riding the golf cart,out by the pool even in the boat. I would certainly recommend this speaker.
