I used to have the JBL Charge 3 and wanted to upgrade my speaker after so many years. I ended up coming back to JBL upgraded version and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. It has way too much to offer especially with being able to charge other devices.

Never had an issue with a jbl product. So far nothing has changed. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I had originally purchased a Charge 3 years ago. One of my brothers also had a 3. They are great for syncing together at family events and my other brother was the convinced to buy the Charge 4 and wanted to borrow mine. After trying to sync my 3 with his 4, I read up on upgrading the firmware to make it compatible with the 4 (Jbl Connect to Jbl Connect+). However my other brother with a 3 didn’t want to upgrade because he often synced his with a friend that still had Connect. After forgetting my Charge 3 at home while on a two week trip, I purchased a Charge 5 expecting it to be able to sync with others via Connect+. Im disappointed to discover that now there is another update that is not backwards compatible with syncing old models. This was a main reason why i bought it. They other thing i really liked about the Charge 3 was the ability to use it as a external phone charger when needed. Unfortunately, while the Charge 5 does have a USB port for charging external devices, it doesn’t really work for the latest phones like iphone 13 Plus. Also the missing prev track and next track buttons. Overall, I would recommend anyone with a Charge 3 or 4 to stick with those models, because the charge feature is no better on the 5 and a slightly better sound quality doesn’t make up for the lack of backwards compatibility.

Loud for its size love this little speaker. It took on vacation this summer and it was amazing!!!!

One of the best Bluetooth speakers I’ve ever bought sounds so good. I would recommend this product. Out of them all this is the one. Connection is excellent get clarity.

Perfect. Needed something for my newly screened in deck. The sound covers a large backyard.

Little thing packs a punch. Sounds great at mid-volume (which is still super loud). Starts to get crackly at full volume. Cant beat it for the size and price.

This speaker has a full sound. We have used it for everything from music to surround with the outdoor projector. It's also very durable.

Sounds great and the equalizer in the app is great for adjusting for different situations. I would buy again or a bigger version for sure.

Good sound. A plus is that you can charge your phone from the speaker.I would recommend this speaker.

The bass on this speaker is SUPER AMAZING but the downside is that if you wanna blast your music on this speaker the battery life will be shorter then 20 hours and you can’t connect it to your JBL charge 4

We use this in our kids room for music to help him fall asleep. Works AMAZING and is very durable, trust a father of a 3 year old and a 1 year old.

I used to DJ back in the day and JBL was and still is the standard when it comes to audio equipment!! Top notch sound with no distortion!!
