JBL sound quality is very good it very loud.The battery life is excellent.am enjoying my JBL speaker.Range is excellent it a very nice speaker and I love it so so so much.I recommend you to get one you will not regret it.

Pretty loud for a small speaker. I used this for the beach, and small get togethers. Charge is great on this, easy traveling, loud, and instant bluetooth connection.

This speaker is excellent! The sound quality is pretty decent, even when you're blaring music. I've had this connected to multiple phones at once, a new feature for me, and it works very well, allowing multiple people to join in on DJing. The positioning of the subwoofers can make moving the speaker around with music playing a bit awkward, but this isnt a huge issue. I use this a lot in my car as my stereo recently died, and had to 3D print a holder for the speaker because it would roll around once it lost its fairly narrow footing. Keep that in mind if you will be using this in a car, on a boat or any other unstable surface.

The JBL Charge 5 is powerful! It gives you lots of volume and a strong bass with 20 hours of playtime. The startup and shutdown sounds are also cool. The party can be indoors or outdoors. Overall great sound and would buy again

This was the best purchase. I needed something to use with my projector for bigger sound. This was the easiest and quickest connection and the sound battery life are worth it

I am really surprised from the sound quality coming from this little speaker. The bass is great along with the mids and highs. Battery life is good, overall very pleased with my purchase.

Surprised by the sound...very clear at it's highest volume and the bass is on point. I have two and love that I can connect to both at the same time! I will be adding a few more throughout the house instead of carrying around my tailgater box from room to room! Compact and made very well.

We live in Utah and love to go camping, plus I love music. I had a pain-in-the-behind Sony Bluetooth speaker that was more trouble than it was worth to use. A few months ago I decided to try the JBL Charge 5 speaker... wow, what a great sound! And it is amazingly convenient!! I have let it run all day and still haven't run the battery out. I love it and highly recommend it!

sound is very crisp, long battery life. provides excellent bass and not everpowribg treble. covers a whole bedroom without any issue. perfect for the beach as well.

It sounds great and gets pretty loud for its size. One i would recommend though is to download the JBL portable app so you can see the battery life more accurately as well as use the equalizer.

I BOUGHT ONE FOR MYSELF AND OH MY THIS SPEAKERS HAS GREAT BASE, VOLUME, CLARITY, GOOD BATTER LIFE. I DID PURCHASE THE JBL FLIP 5 AND RETURNED IT FOR THE JBL CHARGE 5 AND MY OPINION THE FLIP DIDN'T COMPARE TO THE CHARGE 5. DON'T GET ME WRONG THE FLIP IS STILL IS A GREAT SPEAKER.
