    Battery is super weak. Dies out within a couple hours of using. Even though it has a full battery. Also, the sound is not loud for the price.

    Just bought this thing a week ago and it fell in my pool and stopped working immediately the first time Sucks that produces that say "waterproof " isn't waterproof!

    I’ve had it a little over a month and now it won’t take or keep a charge and i can’t return it so i consider it garbage.

You may also try using a different USB cable and chargers rated at least 2-amps. See if there's any sand or dirt in the speaker's charging port, then clean it with compressed air.     The quality is horrible! The sound makes static noise and the rubber bottom is coming off after 3 days of having it!

      Since the unit was purchased recently and the rubber is coming off as well as having static noises, you may have it replaced with a new one from the store where you bought the unit. JBL

    Party boost only works when using the speakers with your phone. It will not work with TV's or laptops.

      This PartyBoost feature will not work on a PC/Laptop.They can only connect to another Charge 5 for a stereo pair using the PartyBoost feature via the JBL Portable app (to switch between stereo mode and party mode). In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime.
