AMAZING sound quality! By far the best portable speaker, it gets really loud while still being small and compact and doesn't compromise the sound by adding too much bass as some speakers do. Which is great for my partner to test their music on different sound systems. I love that you can chain two together, sometimes I will pair it with my partner's JBL for a party and its awesome. I will say, my one complaint is actually getting it to pair through the JBL app or on your phone is so frustrating, not sure if its a user error on my part but it's extremely frustrating for no reason. But when they do connect it's worth the trouble. The battery life is really fair, I don't have to worry about charging it constantly. I also LOVE the camo print and orange accent. The waterproof feature I haven't tested yet, but love that it's an option to bring it out on an inflatable float or a boat this summer. The powerbank feature is also great when you're away from the car or house. Overall- great speaker and worth the money. Would recommend JBL as a brand to anyone looking for high quality sound and build.

The size is exactly what I was looking for, but I had trouble finding the sound I wanted without going bigger. The Charge 5 checked all of the boxes and I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Great audio and bass , I’ve had it for over a year now although I’ve never used the charging feature it’s a great speaker all around.

JBL charged wireless speaker. Great for outdoor parties by the pool. It’s water resistant.

Bought this for a friend for his bday and I see the old speaker is nowhere to be found. Sounds great for a not too large area. No comment on the charging feature as he doesn’t use it.
