Excellent sound quality and small enough to take anywhere.

Gets loud with clear sound. Bass could be a bit better but is ok. Battery life is very good. Light weight. It does not have a carrying handle or have hooks to put one on, so the only negative, but I bought one for about 14.00 from amazon. Bottom line this is a great sounding speaker!

Bought this speaker in order to have quick access to louder music while at home. This speaker delivers great sound wity easy connectivity. There are other features that i have not been able to use yet but im glad that i have the options

I really love my JBL, the sound is fantastic! Very easy to set up and pair with my phone. The Charge5 seems to be particular as to the charging cord, not every cord will do the job. Once I figured out that tidbit, wirks like a charm!!

This is a very good speaker. It's loud and has a very clearly defined upper range. It does not fill out the lower end as much as I'd like (had the Xtreme2 previously), but it acquits itself quite nicely compared to similarly priced speakers. I directly compared this to a buddies Megaboom3 and felt that the Charge5 sounded better overall. Note that the battery will drain very quickly from 60% volume on up. I bought this and sold my Xtreme2 because it's much easier to pack and travel with. I definitely recommend it.
