sound is very crisp, long battery life. provides excellent bass and not everpowribg treble. covers a whole bedroom without any issue. perfect for the beach as well.

The JBL Charge 5 is powerful! It gives you lots of volume and a strong bass with 20 hours of playtime. The startup and shutdown sounds are also cool. The party can be indoors or outdoors. Overall great sound and would buy again

Surprised by the sound...very clear at it's highest volume and the bass is on point. I have two and love that I can connect to both at the same time! I will be adding a few more throughout the house instead of carrying around my tailgater box from room to room! Compact and made very well.

It sounds great and gets pretty loud for its size. One i would recommend though is to download the JBL portable app so you can see the battery life more accurately as well as use the equalizer.

Good bass and overall good sound for the price. It is portable and light but I wish it had clips to hook to backpacks like Ultimate ears.

I BOUGHT ONE FOR MYSELF AND OH MY THIS SPEAKERS HAS GREAT BASE, VOLUME, CLARITY, GOOD BATTER LIFE. I DID PURCHASE THE JBL FLIP 5 AND RETURNED IT FOR THE JBL CHARGE 5 AND MY OPINION THE FLIP DIDN'T COMPARE TO THE CHARGE 5. DON'T GET ME WRONG THE FLIP IS STILL IS A GREAT SPEAKER.

This speaker is a beast for the price. The sound quality is impressive, especially the bass—it hits hard without distorting, even at higher volumes. Whether I’m chilling at home or outdoors, the audio stays rich and powerful.

This speaker is great for boating, biking, hiking, by the pool, ANYWHERE! Perfect size, super loud and very durable.

Cannot say enough good things. It connects to two devices at the same time, for example my ipad and my android phone. It'll play from whichever device i want without me having to pair it from device to device. When it's turned on it automatically connects to the nearest device it has been previously paired with. Sound quality is phenomenal for a compact speaker. Lots of bass, clear highs and mids. We use it for outside movie projection - we just sit it on a small table between us at the fire pit. And we play music on it during social gatherings - and we invite guests to share speaker control through Spotify. 10/10

Purchased another JBL as I have had one before & have enjoyed it. It’s has good quality sound & can easily be carried around from room to room or different locations (lake, camping etc.) The reason I had to replace is the speaker could have been dropped so the battery was separating from speaker & have to leave it plugged in to use it. Old speaker has some distortion as well probably due to being dropped.

Laat time I had a portable speaker was the UE Boom 2 going from that to this was night and day. Batter life impeccable and sound is amazing, that fact that you can download the app for their equalizer setting is great. Youre also able to charge your phone from it but with this day and age its not great as its super standard and now we have super fast charging capabilities but who knows maybe with the charge 6 this will be an option. I had the Bose Soundflex 2 which has no equalizer and again took it back for this.
