Definitely a upgrade from the 4 which I had for years and loved. Waterproof which is nice around the pool: Would definitely recommend over other competing brands

Haven’t tested out the option to Bluetooth it to multiple JBL speakers at once but I’m guessing that would be even more impressive.

Better sound (got a little bass now)

I know JBL batteries burn easy when overcharging. So im hesitant to full charge when i cant tell where I'm at. Still, its the most durable and more importantly to me, it's waterproof. However, get the geek protection. No worries with any of my purchases.
