So I was torn between the Flip 6, Charge 5 and the Extreme 4. After testing all of them out at the store, I wanted a bit more punch than the Flip 6, but I didn't need all of the high power of the Extreme 4, and it was a bit more than I was willing to spend. The Charge 5 fits right in the middle and is perfect for my home gym and cookouts. I can tell it has very high build quality and looks great. The sound is incredible and it can crank pretty loud for a unit of this size. They all sounded great, and you really can't go wrong with any of them, but I personally think this is the best value out of the lineup. This can definitely suffice for most people's needs.

Use this speaker everyday and shocked at the build quality since I drop it often and not a single scratch. The price to sound quality is also very nice highly recommend y'all

Great quality and smooth sound. I bought this speaker for a trip to the beach and all the people around me was enjoying all the music and I was playing. Nice long batterie.

Honestly the best sounding speaking I’ve had. I’m glad I decided to go the next size up JBL, however the smaller version kicks just as hard this one is just a bit louder and has a longer battery life—2 things necessary for me and what I’m using it for! 10/10.

Great sound and a lot of volume. I love it. I had been trying to just use my phone but once I tried this speaker I was sold. JBL has always been recognized as one of the top companies and after checking everything else that was supposed to be equivalent I couldn't find anything that sounded as great as the JBL

Very nice sound and battery life is excellent. I have not tried charging phone due to wanting longer battery life. On mid volume we had it go for 6 hours when speaker shows the orange dying indicator light starts. The levels ins sound are a bit extreme but at half volume it bumps.

Great product for outdoor activities or just chilling at home. Holds a charge for a good amount of time, and the volume produced from such a compact speaker is perfect. Would definitely recommend purchasing.

Wonderful sound quality for its size but there are louder Jbl has learned a lot. I bought this and pawned it shortly after for personal reasons. But JBL is the king or budget portable sound in my opinion.

I loved the sound of their speakers, and the best part is that I can use them without worrying about them getting damaged while it’s raining or when I’m in the pool. There’s also a mobile app that helps me adjust the treble and bass. A really good product.

Extremely loud and will fill up the room full of sound easily. Price is very expensive but if you got the money to spare then its worth it. Definitely better than beats pill + !

The jbl charge is Perfect and very portable! I love that you can pair with other jbl speakers and the charging feature in case your other devices need a charge is cool. Would buy again!

Been a fan of JBL speakers since the first extreme and I have to say. This speaker does not disappoint. Battery life is good, sound quality is superb with its rich HK sound, and I love the fact that I could listen to it in the rain.

This speaker has excellent sound quality and a large range of volume. Connects easily to my Bluetooth devices. Holds a charge for a very long time. It is a little bigger than I expected, but still a great portable option.

Bought this for my 11 yr old son so he could take to his tennis practice and the sound quality it’s crazy good. Very portable but with a big punch. We are now taking it with us when we go on vacations.

I love it. You can hear the song good and it really water proof. Also it can charge ur phone which help a lot bec I forget to charge it when I go to sleep

The JBL Chage 5 has really good sound quality, the bass isn’t crazy but it’s a small speaker. You get what u pay for. It’s held up outside frisbee golfing, at work I’ll use it for several hours. Perfect size to keep in your backpack and not take up too much room. Its the perfect on the go speaker.

Wow I love this Bluetooth speaker. The sound is clear & loud enough when you want it. I had another brand similar to this one. But I like this so much better. JBL has best sounding speakers.
