Posted .Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. The CLIP 2 offers up to 8 hours of playtime when charged for 2.5 hours @ 5V, 0.5A. However, battery life would really depend on how the speaker is used, depending on music content (i.e Rap, R&b, rock, etc...) and volume level would certainly play a major role in the play time of the speaker. If the speaker is at 80-90% volume playing audio with a lot of BASS, battery/play time would be shortened compared to the speaker playing mellow/slow music at 40-50% volume.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased one of these speakers, opened it and immediately paired it with my phone with no problem, great sound great quality, tried to pair my wife's phone with it and couldn't find the speaker, went to exchange it with another one and opened the new speaker in store only to find the same problem except between my phone and two customer service techs phones are not able to connect either. Returned the product.

Died after one use

It had never gotten wet or anything. The next day it wouldn't charge. I didn't buy warranty because the Best Buy place that sold it does not offer one. So I just have to live with this dead speaker.
