The JBL Clip 2 is an excellent portable speaker. The sound from this small device is amazing and the volume is loud. It’s great at the beach or any where you want your own private music. The clip is very convenient. The speaker is somewhat directional so keep that in mind. I caught it on sale and couldn’t be happier.

this little thing packs a punch. JBL made lots of improvements on this since they first came out. its not as loud but the sound is crisp and the bass is just fine. water resistant too!!!! Only one gripe is the battery life. lasts about 5-7 hours... the louder the volume the more it consumes. great on the go and clips to almost anything.

This was a present for my husband for his walks, so he doesn't have buds in his ears. Great sound and turns up loud so you can hear over the cars. Voices are clear and music is balanced well. The clip is great so you don't have to hold or stick it in a pocket. He enjoys this speaker and I too have been able to enjoy it. Well worth it.

Reviews are extremely subjective. In this case, depending on what your expectations are, the review can range between good to poor. This speaker is "good" if your expectations are only to upgrade a tablet (in my case ipad) speaker. By upgrade I mean to allow the speaker to be placed away from the ipad, having a little more volumn with a slightly improved sound. On the other hand this review would be poor if you're expecting an enhanced quality in sound. It's a single speaker. The bluetooth works well, eliminating a messy wire situation. It comes with a USB charging cable. The cable length is short. so if you need to charge the speaker it must be within 8 inches of the usb hub. The charge lasts at least a good 8 hours. The unit itself feels solid in your hands and has a nice clip so you can attach it to whatever suits your fancy. Overall I would recommend this only if you're looking for a minor upgrade over your tablet speaker system.

This JBL Bluetooth Speaker is small with big sound. You are able to fill a room with music off my Bluetooth enabled phone or tablet. It is small and compact with great sound. As a plus it waterproof to be used around the it beach, even if you want to sing to your favorite tunes in the shower. Highly recommended this great little Speaker.

I originally bought this for my daughter, but after hearing it I like it. Its small and portable and does a great job.

I have another Bluetooth speaker, but the Clip is much better. The bass is good and it tweets well. The speaker is extremely portable and seems to be rugged. I have used it for several hours, 1 hour at a time...so I don't know how long a charge lasts, but certainly long enough for me. Totally good purchase.

MOST important, sound quality great for conversation. Then, the size and shape makes it truly mobile. I can fit it in so many spots in a bag or briefcase, no worries! Finally, it's tough. Avoid sledgehammers, but this little darling can be dropped from your hand to the floor and you need no concern.

Wow! What a great little speaker. Sound is amazing. The JBL app used with your smart phone brings out the best in this speaker. Your phone will act like a remote for the volume. Used with Spotify makes it even better. The clip makes it easy to attach to your beach chair at the beach. Water resistant is a bonus

Purchased the speaker to take to the beach and to the pool. Easily clips on to any chair or cooler. After initial set up, connects to my iPhone 6 with Bluetooth just by turning on both devices. Sound quality is very good for the price and size and the portability. Portability was the main feature I was seeking.

I needed a portable waterproof speaker that could fit in my bag without taking up a lot of space. For the price this has great sound, and it super convenient to carry with its clip. You can get other speakers that do similar things for about the same price but the brand has a good rep so it was an easy yes for me.
