I use mine mainly for working around the yard and in the workshop for music. I clip it to a belt loop, and enjoy having good sound follow me where ever I go.

JBL Clip 3 Disappointed Me

This little speaker sounds great even at a higher volume. The reason that I returned the speaker is because it quit charging less than two weeks after he unwrapped it at Christmas. I have other older Bluetooth speakers which still sound great and keep their charge and have no problems charging (UE Boom). I will stick with that brand from now on.

I clip it onto my backpack or strap and use it works great! Its portable and the sound gets pretty loud and is clear!
