I use outside near my pool and when my family and I bike on the trails or on the beach. Sound projects well with little distortion unless you turn it to the loudest setting. Overall great speaker for the price.

Great speaker for near water!

My unit did however "sputter" when floating on the water. I am sure that reception was interfered with. I love the portability and the sound quality. It easily attaches onto my golf cart for a more enjoyable evening ride.

The only thing that I would say that is negative is that it is advertised as water resistant/tolerant,however this is not exactly true. I accidentally dropped it in water and it was submerged for a few minutes, once I got it out and dried it off it no longer works.
