This speaker, while not the best I have encountered, is also not the worst. It produces a substantial volume, although there is some audio distortion. Nevertheless, it effectively amplifies any audio played through it, fulfilling its intended purpose. Regarding the battery life, I cannot comment as I do not use this speaker regularly.

Cover fell off. Not as much bass as clip 2. Cheaper design. Not as flexible, cheaply made clip. Keeps ringing when you turn the power off when you get a phone call. Takes way longer to charge even though the battery lasts slightly longer. Does not sound as good as clip 2 even though it's slightly louder. Buttons on face of speaker easily pushed accidentally. Overall I wished I would have bought another Clip 2 instead. For 70$ plus tax I expected better quality

The jbl speaker sounds loud for such a small speaker. It packs a punch and is high quality i use it daily in my shower and it also holds a lot of battery life. What is even better is i got it on an open box deal so it was only 35 dollars which i was very happy with.

It's a very nice speaker and powerful for its size. Vocal sound is very nice and clear, the bass is a bit lacking. The biggest drawback was that the speaker did not deliver on phone calls which I needed the most for my conference calls.

Was looking to buy another clip2 since it was so useful and durable for over a year of daily use and found the clip3. Very durable design at first glance, they removed the attached aux cable for an actual aux port next to the usb charging slot. The clip can no longer can change position like the clip2, but the clip3 has a rubberlike base now that prevents it moving while in use. After about a week of owning the clip 3 its screen cover fell off while in use. Something that never happened to my clip2 during its lifetime. I recommend buying it on sale and getting the $10 warranty like me and its a solid purchase.

Nice sound, easy to operate! Can go on my bicycle so I don’t have to use head phones! A lot safer and it looks good! I als use it on the job went I paint!

Bought this JBL Clip 3 for my grandson at Christmas based on reviews that I had read. This little speaker sounds great even at a higher volume. The reason that I returned the speaker is because it quit charging less than two weeks after he unwrapped it at Christmas. I have other older Bluetooth speakers which still sound great and keep their charge and have no problems charging (UE Boom). I will stick with that brand from now on.

Does a decent job at the beach. We clip it to our beach umbrella giving us a good range in volume and music. The battery lasts us the whole beach trip and it’s ultra portable so it hardly takes up space for those that like to minimize on their beach haul.

Nice sound for this price point. Convenient hook for on the go. Very happy with my purchase!

For the price it’s okay, I returned mine and got the citation 100 for $99 when it went on sale. This is good for like a kid to have. Price point is good enough for a repeat purchase in case they loose it. It has everything that JBL normally has except the big booming sound. I have the charge 3 from JBL which I got for 79.99 last Black Friday it’s ten times better!!!

When receiving a phone call or making one you can not turn up the volume on the speaker.It is not as loud as my phone speaker. When using GPS like waze you can turn the Volume way up. This is the 2nd one I’ve had with the same problem. Plenty of sound except when getting or sending a blue tooth call. Makes no sense . Mark Mckenna

This is the second JBL portable speaker I have bought. The sound quality is very good. The only thing that I would say that is negative is that it is advertised as water resistant/tolerant,however this is not exactly true. I accidentally dropped it in water and it was submerged for a few minutes, once I got it out and dried it off it no longer works.

It has a good quality. I wouldn't recommend it as a general speaker for a giant room. I'd also be careful with it because if it falls, the top cover of it will come apart. Since it's glued together and not put together with hooks or anything, you can't easily put it back together.

Nice sound and compact design. Only issue I have with it is that it disconnects on bluetooth quite a couple of times during the day. My MP# player is only inches away which doesn't make sense. I would have given it 5 stars but can't with this issue.

Its good until it isn't... I have had a few of these and they seem to all break. The clip broke on the last one, they stop working after about a year too. sad because the price is great but, I dont like to buy every year.

Doesn't connect well with calls, but the quality of songs played is good.

I love these a speakers cause the clip on my jeans. The sounds are great and loud enough. The only thing I don't like is when it drops the top comes off and it's hard to stay on.

I have this speaker as well as the JBL Flip 4. I like the size and hanging clip on this unit, but the battery life is half that of the Flip 4 and there are no indicator lights for remaining battery. The sound quality for both are great, as well as volume levels. I just wish this speaker displayed the battery Level on the device or at least on my iPhone like some Bluetooth devices had previously. I don’t know if it no longer does because of Apple or JBL.

Pretty solid. Cool that it’s waterproof and much better than the previous model. The battery however is not good. Thats all I can really say.

Sound very good Easy to handle Construction quality I will say poor. Drop it accidentally from my knee and the speaker grill brake. Now has tape to keep it in place
