Great little portable music player to take on the go. Built in clip comes in handy and small compact size lets you sneak in in a carry on or suitcase. It is approx the size of a hockey puck or my palm or and i dont have large hands. Music quality is pretty good for a little device at the right price point sub $100.

Good sound (could be better) but not bad for the price. Battery life is decent and it’s small and lightweight so you can hook it up to a backpack, pants buckle etc. Not a bad product though. Easy to pair too.

Not mind blowing sound but it does the job. Connectivity was very easy. Clip is convenient for belts, pant loops, etc. Easy to use.

They’re really good but only slightly disappointed with the sound quality at max volume. They’ll be perfect for on-the-go personal music on your backpack (or bike or whatever). I personally think the upgrade to the Clip 4 may be worth it for the increase bass potential.

Very good product and at the right price and the design is great

I love the size and feel of this handy dandy speaker. The sound is loud and clear. I do with it had a little bit more bass but I am happy with it. The battery life is decent and charging it seems to only take a few hours. I don't play it at 100% volume so battery lasts a decent amount of time. I like the sounds it makes when you turn it on and off also how easilly it connects with my cell phone.

Bought as a gift to be used primarily for audio books and podcast. User loves the small size and clarity that this unit delivers. He is able to easily clip unit anywhere that it is being used, and loves the long battery life.

Has a great overall sound but is a little weak in the bass. The attachable clip makes it easy to travel with. You get a lot of music on a single charge. Very durable and well made.

I really am impressed by this little thing, it truly has surpassed my expectations from sound quality, volume. The only downside I really don’t love about it is the battery life. I think the battery life could be substantially improved, but it gets the job done, its bery easy to move around and portability is great!

good sound, charge lasts a long time, i wish it had more base, I own a 2nd one we purchased last year and it has more base sound. otherwise, love it!!

Bought this speaker as an extra to golf with. It’s perfect for the price and the size is great. The base could be more prominent but the rest of the sound has great clarity. The clip also comes in handy. Plus it’s hard to beat that it’s waterproof. Also holds a very long charge.

This is a great speaker for the price. It's small and convenient to tote around. It doesn't have the same bass as some of my more expensive speakers, but that was to be expected and I'm still very pleased with it!

Got this speaker on a good sale and it is awesome for the price. The sound is great and not a bad battery life for how small it is. When you set the speaker down on a surface it uses that surface for bass so it does sound a little bit better. I keep it on my camera bad because it’s small enough to hang there and use while I’m shooting.

I really enjoy the JBL Clip 3, Bluetooth connect easily to I-Phone and plays my tunes. Clips to backpack or beltloops for walking or hiking. Sounds good and is not to big or small. Also resist water and dust, I got 3 more to give as Christmas gifts. Merry Christmas 2020!

I love this device overall. It has excellent sound for its size. The built-in carabiner and being waterproof make it perfect for a variety of uses, like bike rides or clipping onto a towel rack for laying down some shower music to sing along to. The only con is that the bass and sound aren't quite as powerful as bigger speakers, but this is to be expected given its small form factor. For its size, its sound is spectacular. Just don't expect it to compete with larger (and more expensive) speakers. But the small form factor also gives it a huge amount of portability, which is a plus.

The portability of this speaker is awesome. It is so small and isn't that heavy that it makes it easy to take anywhere. Comparing to the other JBL speakers, the quality isn't as good but for the size of the speaker, the sound quality is pretty good. The bass isn't too bad on it and the music play very loudly. I think for the size of this speaker, it gets the job done. Definitely satisfied with it, just wish it had a little bit more bass. If you find it on sale then I would say definitely worth the money.

I love the portability of this speaker. The volume is good for such a small device. I only wish it had a back button so I didn't have to use my phone to do that. Other than that this product is really solid.

I compare this to the Sony srs xb12 The sound on JBL is almost 25% higher. But the sound quality of Sony is better. Sony has a warmer sound and a noticable bass! JBL lacks significant bass. It is also very high on treble. very high pitch. The sound at high volume is not pleasant. THE GOOD: - it is very loud for it's size - water proof - great battery life - compact and low profile The bad: -Higher pitch sound -No bass, high treble -slight vibration at high volume

Great sound with a small footprint. For the size of this device, you get excellent audio quality. Battery last well over a day with volume at 60%. Looks like it will hold up from day to day wear and tear.

I am a big fan of JBL Bluetooth speakers. Every time they release a new speaker of the same line it sounds better, lasts longer, and connects more. The clip 3 is true to its earlier model with one exception. As small as it seems, JBL connect is not a feature for the 3. I was a little disappointed. I had visions of this Christmas with my ornaments full of clip3 sound instead of traditional blah. I don't imagine many people wanting to connect 10 of these together but it would be nice to try. Overall great sound, lacking a little punch but you shouldn't buy this if your wanting a boombox. Instead fork over the cash for an Extreme 2 and it won't dissapoint
