won't hold a charge

He has to constantly charge it and now wants a new non-JBL speaker since this one lasted all of six months. I would not recommend.

Waste of time to audit it

When you get a speaker, you need to ask yourself if you will keep it if it is free. if the answer is no, it is one star.this has a bad midrange. The midbass is missing.

GREAT sound for a portable speaker

It's perfect size to clip onto a backpack or take with you to the beach/pool. The sound is impressive....strong and clear quality. Because it's JBL, you can count on sturdy build quality as well. Definitely happy with my purchase. Sounds really good outdoors, and the fact that it's waterrpoof is comforting since we use it by the pool.

Out of the box it was quick and easy to pair with my computer and cell phone. I love the easy access buttons on the top and side of the Clip 3. It makes it easy to adjust the volume and turn the Clip 3 on and off. The sound is rich and plentiful from such a small package. The sound is as good as larger and much more expensive speakers I've seen. I love how portable this is and it feels sturdy and well made. I'm happy I caught this on sale for under $40. It's well worth the price for such a great portable speaker!
