My first was a Sony XB100 series. I use the speakers while riding my recumbent trike and listening to my 70s and 80s music. The JBL Clip 5 is louder and flexible enough to put in different places on my trike as well to carry around. I wish it would answer calls like the Sony unit. I would recommend the JBL to anyone that wants a bluetooth speaker.
