I was looking for something to take to the beach or have music when I travel and this checks the boxes . Sound quality is nice and clear for the size without being too overbearing .

I have a JBL Clip 3 that I keep in my work truck and it sounds great it has been beaten up over the years on job sites and is still perfect, so I knew the quality was going to be there and worth a bit more extra money.I recently started Paddleboarding with my wife on the weekends and found out that you can sync up two Clip 5's. So I bought two of these (one for each of our boards). The range is better than cheaper waterproof speakers found on Amazon which I tried first before I read the JBL's can do it. The JBL's are better in EVERY way. They are super easy to sync up together (one button press). Now I can play my playlist from my phone on my board and we can all listen to it. It's nice that these can get wet and I don't worry.

Love this! I purchased to replace my old JBL clip when the carabiner wore out and broke off. This is fantastic, great thumping sound for size, sturdy built in clip, easy to use and pair, compatible with JBL app, waterproof functionality is great.

Very impressed with the sound quality and volume for the size of the speaker. Very nicely made, water and dust proof is perfect for outdoors. The ability to change the listening mode to potentially save battery is a nice feature. Worth every cent!

Great speaker, only complaints is the battery life not lasting very long if you use the speaker on full volume which most people will probably want to do, because it doesnt get super loud considering its size and portability. However, the clip feature and the fact that JBL just makes really great quality speakers (we have multiple JBL speakers from Flips to Charge to the Xtreme), this little thing absolutely gets the job done if you are out and about and need a small portable speaker you can hang up (perfect for golfing), or my favorite thing, for use in the shower! When it comes to a speaker specifically needed for its portability, i really dont think you can find a better alternative than JBL Clip.

Great sound! It was better than the previous model. We like to take it to the beach and hook in on something and its better than lugging around a bigger portable speaker.

Loud for the size of the speaker. Sound quality and bass is great. Sound quality still remains good on the loudest setting. I bought two because that’s how great these speakers are.

This little speaker really punches out some great sound. Have it attached to the yeti camino bag and nobody can believe how loud it is for its size. Bought 2 of them

Very impressed with the deep sound for the relatively small JBL Clip Speaker. I had an older Clip version which was not as robust and the clip broke. Overall very pleased with the speaker.

Dandy little speakers that pair easily, a great feature. The first speaker hooks up to Bluetooth, then pairs with the second speaker…works great. The only problem are the white and red flashing lights… hard to figure out how to stop that, but I’ve managed so far. I want to use them hooked up to electricity all the time (in my bedroom and bathroom), but it doesn’t seem they like to do that. So, I’ve been constantly having to plug them in, or unplug them to get the flashing lights to stop. Other that that, they are great speakers, great sound!

Excellent product. I use it in the shower but it also would work elsewhere. Deep sound for a small speaker.
