Good little speaker.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The JBL Clip+ speaker is a surprisingly powerful speaker for something so compact, with better-than-expected audio quality, good battery life, and a study, compact build which makes it incredibly convenient. We hang ours on a hook in the shower, and with the push of a button it's on and connected to a phone for music playback. The built-in microphone is able to discern my voice over the sounds of the shower well enough that I can use Siri through it to control my iPhone to pause, skip tracks, and so forth. The only two real negatives I can think of: the included micro-USB charging cable is very short, and you can only pair it to one device, so my wife isn't able to play music from her own phone through it. Just me. On the other hand, that means I don't have to listen to any disco in the mornings... so I guess just the one negative then.

Posted .If your wife wants to pair, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the CLIP + until it is blinking. Your wife will be able to pair to the speaker. From that point forward either of you will be able to connect to the speaker, just not both at the same time.

However after about 6 months of use the speaker would no longer charge. Good thing I had bought the insurance plan! Geek Squad exchanged it for me and my new one seems to be working fine.

Wanted something small for throwing in the back pack. Has good sound especially when placed on a flat surface where it has deeper bass tones. Can also be clipped on your back pack for mobility. Descent battery life of 6 to 7 hours.
