Posted .The battery will last UP TO 5 hours, depending what you are listening to. If you are listening to mellow acoustic music at background music listening levels, the battery will last up to 5 hours. But if you are cranking up to maximum volume and listening to hip-hop with loud deep bass, the battery will drain much quicker.
It is the same with all products. For example, if you set your screen on your phone to really bright, it will drain your battery faster. If you push the pedal in your car all the way down, driving really fast, it will use more gas then driving really slow. If you use a 100 watt light bulb, it will cost more in electricity than if you use a 10 watt bulb.
Great sound for little speaker

I work in a very noisy warehouse and I can now jam to my tunes as I count inventory, love the clip, and that it's splash proof, very happy with this purchase.

You'll be lucky if you get the battery to charge and hold its charge...the only good thing was the geek squad warranty..I think they replaced it 8 times in 2 years before making me purchase the next level up speaker

The first one the clip broke for no apparent reason and the second one would not hold a charge. The third one is acting the same and I haven't had neither of them a year yet.

I am still surprised that it puts out room filling sound from such a compact,splash proof unit. I bought it for outdoor on the go use and so far for that its been great.
