I own an 11500 watt QSC and JBL PA System and a state of the art home surround sound system and Yamaha powered HS8 monitor speakers for my recording studio. However, with a family that cringes when the volume is turned up beyond 3, I find myself using my JBL Clip4 speaker 90% of the time. We take it everywhere we go. I had the Clip3 and left it behind on a trip to New Orleans. I find that, while the 3 and the 4 are comparable, the Clip4 sounds cleaner with better base response and louder volume. The only problem with it is that I still keep hearing my family saying, “turn it down.”

The volume of this speaker is great. It's a little bass heavy and it's hard to understand podcasts, but music is great on it. Premium feel and easy to pair. Love it!

This is our 3rd JBL Clip. We hav had the 2 ,3 and now the 4. Our daughter borrowed the 3 and didn't return it because she liked it so much so we bought a new one. These little speakers are awesome with great sound quality. The first one stopped charging, but works fine when connected to direct power.
