Yes, the volume was on high, but it's not all that loud. It'd adequate, but I would expect at least six hours full blast. Everything else is fine, but this is EXTREMELY overpriced for the volume & battery life.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
