I'm a speaker enthusiast and have over $3000 in my car audio. Maybe I should of looked more into JBL BUT I love my sundown x15v3d2.

Battery life, range and charging time is great, but the base is bad now... I never crank the volume, so disappointed. The base has become annoying and looking to buy a Bose.

Yes, the volume was on high, but it's not all that loud. It'd adequate, but I would expect at least six hours full blast. Everything else is fine, but this is EXTREMELY overpriced for the volume & battery life.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
