Hi there, we appreciate your review on our JBL Endurance DIVE headphones. Here is a step-by-step procedure on how to add songs to your headphones:

      1. Place the MP3 music files that you want to transfer to the Dive headphones on your computer, where you can find them again. The sequence is not important, they will be played in alphanumerical sequence. If you want to have a special sequence to your tracks, you can add a number as the first file name.
      2. Connect the Dive to your computer with the USB cable. Please use the cable that came with the headphones, since other USB cables may be wired for charging only, and may not work.
      3. Your Dive will now pop up in your explorer folder overview as a new drive. Total capacity is about 991 MB.
      4. Now you simply drag-and-drop the MP3 files from their location onto the Dive, or you mark the files, copy them and paste them onto the Dive. Do not use folders of any kind, and do not try to place other file types on the Dive's memory. MP3 files with a resolution of 320 kbits/second is maximum quality possible.

We hope this helps. If you need further assistance from us, let us know through here and we'll be happy to lend out a helping hand: http://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html JBL

I got these for my wife based on the reviews I read online. Don't let them fool you, overall these things are pretty terrible. While they are durable feeling, the sound lacks any depth or for that matter warmth. I own several high end headphones for work and personal use, and I liked that these were described as "bright", which is a welcome attribute in this world of overpowering bass headphones. The fit is outstanding, the controls suck, the MP3 mode is glitchy at best, but the sound is absolutely terrible for a JBL product. They aren't actually "bright", but the lack of any low end warmth makes them sound it. I am hoping they can still be returned but we are at day seventeen since purchased.

    Solid Wireless headphones

I bought these mainly for use at the gym with my cell phone. I had previously some other brand/wireless headphones as a way to get away from a cord while working out, but those were bulky and didn't sound all that good. The JBLs though are great. The setup was easy via Bluetooth on my android phone. The sound quality is as good as above average connected earbuds. The battery life is good an the 3 months ive been using them, usually charging them after about 10hours of total use. As one other user pointed out the buttons on the wireless headphones are a bit touchy for using when changing tracks/pausing, but easy use for adjusting volume. I use my phone's controls for just about everything else with music. I haven't used the other available options with the connection to my phone, so I won't comment on those. Waterproofing, I also haven't really had any experience with. I will also mention the range these headphones keep to the phone. Ive accidentally left my phone somewhere at the gym and they stayed connected without issue for 20-25 yds away. I would recommend these to anyone who looking for a wireless headphone option for outdoor use

You have to be OBSSESSED for it to work

I'm a regular guy had my last pair broke, trying out this one, and am fixing to give up: - only can connect to one device (deal killer) - it takes getting used to press one, hold 5 seconds... every time i press/tap the earpiece, it pushes the earpiece, irritating - spent 30 min trials/errors to find out it doesn't respond well to fingers with callus. Well, you'll have to have good fingers then. You have to be in love with it to work it through. Sound is very good though.

I had a pair of plantronic backbeat that were similar to these and loved them. After about 2 years they ended up breaking. I went to Best Buy looking for another pair and found these. I'm absolutely loving them. The automatic on/off based on magnets in the ear piece is freakin awesome. People talked about the instructions being hard to read and the ear piece being touchy... The instructions were honestly great. They're straight forward and after an hour or so of listening and playing around it was second nature. I love these things and you should give them a try if you want a quality pair of workout headphones!

AWFUL & NO WAY WORTH IT

I needed new headphones for working out, so I went to buy a new pair today. I asked a BB employee for help finding the best wireless headset at a reasonable cost. He swore by and praised the quality of product. BOY, WAS HE DEAD WRONG!!!! Probably the worst headphones I have ever owned. To start, I spent literally 20 minutes using the "simple & easy" touch control to try and set it to bluetooth. The device comes with an MP3 mode that I care not for and didn't even try to set up because the rest of the functions made me want to rip my beard hair out. As far as "simple & easy" touch controls goes, there is one spot that you touch and depending on how many times you tap, press & hold, or tap and press & hold depends on what happens. The touch control is so sensitive, it even started changing songs and listening modes just from me breathing on it! WHY?! These are advertised to use for swimming and just a breath of air screws with their function. Second, THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE EAR BUDS I HAVE EVER USED, EVER. Your supposed to "insert horizontally and twist vertically to lock in place." They don't "lock into place." By twisting vertically, the earbud digs into your ear canal. It hurts. It also doesn't help when the outside packaging advertises S, M, L earbud replacements so you can adjust the size of them to make it feel more comfortable and THEN DOESN'T COME WITH ANY IN THE PACKAGE. That actually IS in fact false advertising. Finally, The sound quality that these things "provide" is bad. You could say it's awful, they suck, or even provides inadequate sound. The truth of it, it sounded like I was wearing earmuffs and the earphones were on the outside of them. The sound quality is incredibly muffled and broken up. I thought I might actually have been going deaf and needed to get my hearing checked listening to the terrible quality. In the end, I will be returning these pieces of ABSOLUTE GARBAGE tomorrow when the store opens and getting a refund for them. I might even try to encourage them to remove the dreadful product from their shelves to say them time and money. Wow, these things freaking suck...

This is nothing more than a glorified MP3 player. Won’t even maintain a steady Bluetooth connection with my phone while I am cycling. It should maintain a connection when the devices are 2 feet from one another. Regret this purchase JBL.

The JBL Endurance Dive headphones stopped working after a few uses. Warranty support is not even through support. I recommend if you buy these you buy Best Buy Geek Extended support which is seamless compares to this horrible support from Harman International. Also they do work underwater with internal storage only but this makes sense as Bluetooth would be hard to reach waves under water.

I was enjoying the JBL Dive at first, with it's cool finger gestures like the volume and next song. I struggle to go back to previous songs tho. I take them to the gym and they were great but for excessive use the right side that holds the main interaction hub always pop off. Which I'm constantly adjusting to the point I'm uncomfortable with the product and will be returning it.

I was super excited to buy these, but unfortunately they’re a complete waste of money. They constantly lose the Bluetooth connection, they are buggy while swimming and will just start switching songs or shut off completely, and they definitely aren’t user friendly. I don’t recommend at all.
