You may check the music player app on your source device to see if Equalizer is engaged. If engaged, turn off the equalizer. If turning it off does not enhance the sound quality, turn it on again and adjust the EQ by boosting the bass to your liking. You may also control the Equalizer through the JBL Headphones App to enhance the volume of specific frequencies in the audio signal. This feature allows your to personalized sound optimization to better meet your sound preference. If you have already tried this and remain unsatisfied with the sound quality, rest assured that we're always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback will be forwarded to our development team for future improvement.
JBL earbuds good for some but not me

They are ok but rather bulky and none of the ear cushions fit my ear making it hurt. I had to use my old cushions to make it tolerable.

They do get lose once you start sweating and sometime can experience sound blockages depending on how much you sweat. I like the ear hooks

I’m not sure if I got a defective model, But the packaging is so tight I had to tear it apart, so it was not suitable to return. They were also extremely uncomfortable to wear.
