Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. With our JBL Endurance Peak 3, to achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. You may try to use an equalizer on your music application to adjust the volume to your preference. If you need more help, please contact our customer support. JBL

Doesn't fit deep in your ear like it's supposed to. You have to physically hold them and no matter what I do I can barely hear the music in on ear because of an imperfect fit. Sounds good when you hold it in right.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on our JBL Endurance Peak 3. We understand that this product's fit didn't meet your expectations. To get the best audio response and comfortability with the earbuds, we recommend trying different ear tip sizes that perfectly seal and fit into your ear. Angle the ear tip slightly downward and gently twist the earbud to fit securely, then try to adjust the Twistlock or Powerhook of the JBL Endurance Peak 3 that best fit. JBL

Not a fan of the over the ear part at all! I'm sure some people love it, but it wasn't for me. I have a really hard time getting them into the ear pockets and staying over the ear. Going back to regular ear buds.

The earphones were very uncomfortable and no matter what size was used it couldn't get a tight seal. They were not soundproof and even after downloading and messing with the app, it was impossible to create an environment that drowned out the external noise. They did not fit around the ear ergonomically and the only way to get them to have a decent seal was to turn them sideways which made them lose all of their ability to stay in your ear. I tried to bring them back to Best Buy in order to exchange for something else, but was refused. Would not recommend, would not waste your money.

They started off fine, but I noticed the other day that the sound is not clear unless I hold them slightly rotated in my ear to push the sound upwards more. This seems really strange to me. I tried putting on a smaller ear tip, and this did not fix the issue. They are no longer returnable, so I guess I'll try the warranty. I'm starting to think every pair of workout ear buds are just garbage, and I should try to find a decent pair of over-the-ear ones instead.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Please try a different source device and test if the issue persists. Also, please do a factory reset, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times, and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. If none of the steps work, please contact JBL Customer Support for further assistance. JBL

These are great for music and streaming, but with my zflip, hearing voices on phone calls was impossible, way too quiet. I did love the ear clip on and off feature. Wish i could find one that was great at music and phone calls

If you are buying for water use don't. I bought these to swim laps, and even spoke with JBL regarding the first set I returned. Outside the water I would rate these a 3 compared to my Beats. However in the water the water hitting the touch features in the controls and the "smart controls" cause them to go haywire. Music stops, Ambient kicks in and out. Worthless for this purpose no matter what the description says.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're sorry to hear that our JBL Endurance Peak 3 didn't meet your expectations. Please note that we do not recommend using this device for swimming as Bluetooth signals do not pass through water and the earbuds can only go in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes only. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll make sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team. JBL

I’ll start by saying, I’ve been a fan of JBL for years. I have my second JBL sub in my SUV and two of JBL’s portable speakers. These earbuds were a complete waste of $100 though. Bought them as a Xmas gift for my fiancé for the gym and he got a whole 3 weeks of use out of them. The left one has zero sound coming out of it and the sound in the rignt is just... yuck. Just in time for Best Buy to not take them back.

We appreciate your feedback. This is not the experience that we want you to have with our products. We're always looking for ways to improve. We'll make sure to pass this along to our development team. Your JBL Endurance Peak 3 may experience no sound issue due to issue with dust/dirt/debris blocking the ear tip screen, balance control in your source device (music player app/headphone app/source device). We suggest cleaning the ear tips by removing dust and wax using a pointed toothpick to remove larger amounts and a small amount. Check the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings, as well as the balance control on your music player app. Lastly, initiate reset. With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. If the issue persists, please be informed that all our products come with a one-year warranty. To file a claim and assist you with the replacement, please contact our customer support at (877) 871-6755 / Mon - Fri: 9:00 am - 11:00 pm (ET) Sat-Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (ET). JBL

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on our JBL Endurance Peak 3. We understand that this product's fit didn't meet your expectations. To get the best audio response and comfortability with the earbuds, please try the different ear tip sizes that perfectly seal and fit into your ear. Angle the ear tip slightly downward and gently twist the earbud to fit securely. In addition, the earbuds can be susceptible to moist or deep-seated dirt that blocks the screen of the earbuds. To reduce the likelihood of experiencing low volume, clean the earbuds by removing the dirt after each use, using a pointed toothpick to remove large amounts, and a small amount of rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab for final degreasing. If you need more help, please contact our Customer Support for further assistance. JBL
