I purchased these about 8 days ago. Needed wireless headset that would stay put when worn. They looked pretty good, a little pricey but ok. Popped them I. As soon as I got I the car. They came right on, I was able to pair really easily. I was loving them. Charging case looked great and it seemed like a simple enough process, connect tiny cable, plug in, seat earbud in the pocket. Next morning it was not charged, I figured I did something wrong. So started over, very carefully put earbud back into seat, waited a couple hours, checked if I gained any juice and no luck. I decided to take them back after work, figured maybe they were defective. At work I thought let’s try one more time, plugged in case, seated earbud, forgot they were charging. Checked a few hours later...tadaaaa! Fully charged. So far since that day, I may have been able to fully charge one more time, they sit in the case over night and I wake to 10%. I am so disappointed. I am returning. They sound good, they look good. I was able to even connect to my fire stick to watch tv. But what good is a earbud that doesn’t charge. You can use the main one (right) by itself. You can not use the left one alone. It constantly beeps in your ear - I still haven’t figured out why, it seems like it turns off for second but then I can hear whatever I am listening to at the time. I will be returning to see if I can get another type or brand. Funny thing is as I write this review, they appear to be charging (see picture)-go figure.

These buds fit very well and have great sound quality. However the battery doesn’t last much. I know this information before I bought them. My biggest problem with them is after 5 min of inactivity or use, they turn off automatically to preserve battery life. That’s very annoying to remove them off the ears, ensure the hooks make contact with the unit and place them back on the ears to reconnect them. Finally, the charging case, while convenient to use, have some issues. During several occasions, the earbuds failed to charge after placing them in the case. I’ve found one trick that works every time to charge them. Detach the hooks from the unit and place them in the case. For some reason, it works every time. See photos attached.

I only have 2 problems with these. #1 they shut off after about 10 minutes so it's not good for all day wear. The standby time isn't good if you use these for phone calls. Because if you receive a call or pause your music, after 10 minutes you have to take them off and turn them on every time. #2 the left is completely dependent on the right being on. So if I'm only use the right, say at work. When it dies I can't just put the fully charged left in and use it . That a big one for me

I bought these headphones on March 30th and last week they stopped charging. They were fantastic up til that point. Comfortable for any workout, stylish, and decent sound. The case shows completely charged yet the headphones are not charging. And of course I dont have the receipt or packaging..

THEY DO NOT FALL OUT - AT ALL!

I bought these because I do heavy lifting, and my other buds would constantly fall out EVERY REP! I got so annoyed. Even though the rep told me not to buy them, I took a chance because of the ear clips and because I have many JBL products and they have never failed me. So far I am beyond satisfied! Not only are they super rugged (I actually accidentally went into the shower with them), but they are very sturdy, and super stable in your ear. They can take a little getting used to if you wear a hat, but not bad. The touch interface is a little sensitive but you get used to it eventually after using it more frequently. The charging case is good for more like 5 uses, at most. But I keep it charged. I don't use them to talk too much, but another feature I like is you can use the right earbud independently. The left is not independent, but didn't really matter because I primarily use the right alone. The speaker clarity is clear (as I've been told from others), although you may not be able to tell how loud you are talking. They cancel the outside noise very well in your ear, that's why it's hard to tell. Sound quality is great, not too powerful, but very clear and bass-y. Overall I am VERY VERY satisfied, and if you're active, then these are for you.

Not horrible but for the price I probably would have picked something else. Pros: • The sound quality is pretty good, at least to me. • They stay on your ears while doing literally anything. • Waterproof • I really like the shape/build of the charging case. Cons: • They die very fast. They only last like 3-4 hours after being fully charged before they have to be charged again. • **They die after a few hours even if they haven't been used.** This one is by far the most annoying con. I can keep these in their charging case all day and still if I leave them out for a few hours unused then at least one bud will be dead. • They sometimes randomly play when paused. • They turn off after a few minutes of no use and the only way to turn them back on is to take the right one out of your ear and "close it". Inconvenient, would be better to press+hold as a power button. • They have a hard time clicking into the charging case.

The gestures are a learning curve and sometimes the control ear is too sensitive. Headphones only have a 4 hour run time. Those are my only cons. Sounds amazing, they don't fall out. They are water resistant and you can make and receive calls

They work pretty well and the sound is good. I use them for running and they do have a pretty long life. I recently ran a marathon with them in but they did begin dying after just over three hours of continuous music. They are comfortable and they don't move around much and you don't have to continually adjust them in your ears. My biggest complaints with these is that they do not stay in stand by mode for long and will turn off and the only way to get them back on seems to be to take it off your ear to close the ear loop and then open it back up. At this point I would rather have an actual power button. Second complaint is the charging case. Too many times I put them in the case and then when I go for my next run I start getting a low battery warning. It is at this point that I realize the headphones did not charge. I have to mess with the right ear piece to get it to properly seat in the case and get it charging. The case and the contacts seem to be poorly designed or I have a defective case or earpiece.

Sound quality is very good, and the fit is comfortable. The ear buds block out lot of the ambient noise but you still can hear enough to keep you out of trouble. Stays on comfortable, not to worry about losing it or having it fall off, water resistant big plus no worries about getting it wet. Connection is fast once you set it up great cause you can use just one ear or both. Talking on the phone no problem sound on both side of the conversation good. Battery life not bad, and have the charging case to give you more time.

I was looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones that could double as a hands-free device for the work I do. Although I much prefer over-the ear headphones for critical music listening, they block out too much ambient noise in situations where you want to be aware of what is going on around you. They are also better under a hood, etc. for cold weather outdoor listening. I also don't want or need something that is 'stylish',' discreet', etc., preferring something a little bulkier that performs reasonably well, and has good battery life. I also did not have a huge budget for high end headphones. These JBL headphones were a very close match to what I was looking for, and JBL has a good reputation for a quality product. So how did they perform? The sound quality, for what they are, is more than acceptable. Being designed to get wet, sweaty, etc., I did not expect the greatest sound, but they work fine for casual listening. Enjoying mainly classical music, especially organ music, a wide, flat frequency response is important. It does roll off in the bass somewhat, but again, I think this is due to being designed to withstand environmental moisture. Battery life is more than acceptable, but certainly not what is claimed on the packaging. I can typically get two evenings of listening on a charge. The form-fitted case for the headphones acts as both a charging stand and a charge meter. It also fits nicely in the pocket. One nice feature is the headphone (right) that has the master bluetooth receiver and the controls, can stand alone when all you need is hands-free telephony. The left headphone is actually a slave to the right headphone, and not the music player, etc. About the only drawback I have had with them is their tendency to shut down after about 10-15 minutes of silence. This behavior is not adjustable. Although I can deal with this, it is annoying, and is the reason I only gave four stars. So, can I recommend these headphones? Absolutely!

First off the sound quality on these are amazing. Personally I think these are better than all the beats earphone with the exception of the Powerbeats pro. The fit is nice and they never fall out even when working out. Unfortunately the battery life is horrible, I get an average of 2 hours at half volume. With that being said you have to be at least half volume to drown out outside noises because these are fairly quite headphone until you get above 50% volume. The charging case is cheaply made the lid one mine after about 2 weeks of use is loose and I was being gentle with it. Overall they’re good headphones would recommend these if you don’t want to spend 250+ for beats, there are a few flaws but they can be overlooked by the sound quality and comforts that’s provided.

Good in theory, execution & engineering is subpar

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have given these an honest effort after about 5 months of ownership and just about ready to move on to another option. The design & concept is good in theory however there are many engineering flaws with the product: 1) The charging case requires you to carefully manipulate the earbuds due to their spring loaded over ear design to ensure the metal contacts are touching the right points. If the contacts are not completely clean or sitting just right and confirmed BOTH lights are on you will be surprised to find out they did not charge. It also requires you to gingerly set them on a flat surface as to avoid disrupting this delicate connection. Case and point in the review photo (one light on and one connection to charging contacts lost after closing lid) 2) The audio quality when on a phone call is very much unusable unless the room or environment is completely quiet and phone call audio only comes from the right ear. 3) The left ear bud cannot be used independently of the right. 4) The battery in the left ear bud appears to be of smaller capacity vs. the right ear perhaps by design due to audio only being usable on the right ear. Therefore, be prepared for listening experiences to only be right ear if the left dies first. 5) When on a call if you change the output from the JBL to the speakerphone or earpiece despite taking this as a first step the call hangs up on whomever you are speaking with after they cannot hear you due to the poor sound quality. 6) On a bright note the sound quality when they are charged and work is great! Overall, the product is far to high maintenance requiring so much diligence on the part of the user it makes the entire experience unenjoyable. In today's era of technology there is simply no excuse for this type of poor performance by design. We have several other JBL products and this by far the worst and a lack of complete engineering & validation on the part of JBL. Do better. I will be searching for better options immediately.

Pros: stays on ear well, sound is good, look good, battery charging case is good but a bit bulky to put in pocket. Cons: Auto off battery saved is terrible! Ear piece turns off automatically after only five minutes with out detecting sound. You have to take earpiece off your ear and power back on and wait to reconnect to answer a call. Very annoying. I wanted to take the ear piece back to best buy for a return but was told I was last the 15 day return period. So I'm stuck with a $150.00 paper weight. These work good for constantly listening to music but are not good for phone calls at all. Cost is way too high for just listening to music.

These things continue to impress. Sound is so much fuller compared to AirPods or Jabras. Bose might edge them out on sound quality, but these have no latency when watching videos...something Bose truly struggles with. I use these to work out with, and although they might shift somewhat when I lay back to bench, they never fall out and continue to perform when I’m super sweaty. I had an issue with one side staying charged/connected. Looked up a YouTube video and found out how to hard reset them. Since then, I have had no issues at all.

Have to return & exchange this product often because the charger box malfunctions & won’t charge the earbuds in a consistent, reliable manner. I love the buds when they are functioning, but I’ve yet to keep a pair more than three months, because they fail to hold a charge or unable to be charged. In fact, I have to return a pair tomorrow for the same issue. Thankful for Best Buy’s extended warranty program, I’ve returned several pair this year. I love how they fit & sound, but it is not a reliable product.

Overall great product. 2 things would make it better. 1. Longer battery life. These will not last all day. 2. Left doesn’t work with out right. Right works without left. You have to have the right bud on at all times. Otherwise, great sound, comfortable design. If you only need 4-5 hours between charging, you’re good. They do charge fast, but would prefer a solid 10-12 hrs.

I bought the JBL Endurance wireless in ear headphones back in Feb on 2020, the left ear bud has stopped holding a charge. I noticed it back in Aug but was rarely using them in the 3 months of April-Aug maybe once or twice a week. Great sound when working dont fall off while working and can put up with sun and sweat. The charge while playing music only last 3-4 hours tops before they need to charge again. Now my left bud is not holding a charge at all I literally have to plug it in an hour or so before i leave for the gym for it to last an hour workout

JBL delivered but I do need to take them back (which is why I purchase insurance)because the right bud which I you can only use to talk while the other one stays in the case won’t charge sometimes but the JBLs do charge quick and stay charged for about half the day based on use of course but I do like my purchase

These are a decent set of entry level bluetooth headphones. If you wear them with a hat and/or (sun)glasses they are a bit cumbersome. They don't hurt, but not the best set up. With a fully charged case, sometimes it the ear buds don't connect solid or something, so the charge isn't great. I played golf with them and listened as I warmed up and played, they were down to 10% battery after 2 hours. The sound is good, they actually block out a bit of noise. When used for a phone, you only need your right one. Connection to bluetooth is easy and stable.
