These headphones are great for sports. They have an excellent twist-to-lock ear-hook design and approximately 4 hours of battery life. If the battery is already drained, you can use the quick charge feature to get an additional hour of battery life. Highly recommended for active person.

Can’t believe these are still on the shelf

To begin, you should be able to rate something zero stars if the product is so poor you can’t even use it. I created a Best Buy account solely to review this product because I can’t believe how much of a waste buying this product was. Purchased about 6 months ago, but barely have used them because the charging case doesn’t work. I have wiggle the ear buds in the case to get them to connect and charge, but they don’t stay connected and barely register a charge. A quick search in either these reviews or just through any search engine for “JBL endurance peak won’t charge” will come up with plenty of results to show that this is a common problem amongst those that buy this product. Buying this was literally just throwing away money as I can’t even use them without a charge! Absolutely horrible that Best Buy and JBL still put these on the shelf considering this known problem that occurs frequently. Last time I ever buy anything from Best Buy or JBL. Please, if you’re reading reviews on this product and are considering purchasing, BUY OTHER WIRELESS EARBUDS. Even if they’re on sale, it’s a waste of money. I could not have been more disappointed with my purchase.

Had them for over a year

So I've had these headphones for a little over a year. They work great, but there is one thing that has me really disappointed in these headphone; the charging process. I've noticed that the "left headphone" doesn't want to change anymore compared to the right. I have to hold the headphone at a specific spot for the left to charge. That is a big disappointment about these headphones. I still use them, but its frustrating. I hope this helps.

So I have had these for less than 24 hours and I hate them. I use my headphones for listening to music at work, working out (running, lifting) and for conducting phone calls throughout the day. Right off the bat these were great for listening to music the sound is good, the ear piece is stable (nothing stays in my ear), however I cannot conduct phone calls on these things. The sound quality is terrible. The person on the other end can hear all the background noise. Terrible. To make is worse, when walking on the busy streets of New York, the music cuts in and out. I am thinking this has to do with Bluetooth issues. In just 24 hours, I am returning these things. You cannot even walk New York with these things. I can only imagine what would happen when I am at the gym. I love JBL, but these are terrible.

    Bad design

Bought this product 2 months ago. Believe the people about the recharge and it only lasting 10 min. The charge connection pins in the charging box are a poor design and will lose connection in the box if it is bumpted. The reason the head phone last different amount of run time is because the charge box constantly lose connects and charges the headsets with different level of power. That's why sometimes they die in 3 hours sometime they die in 10 min. Sometimes the left dies before right. All the people complaining about the unit power going out are suffering from the same thing. It's a defective recharge connection that will only get worse as the product ages. JBL knows and is doing nothing to address it.

Good for music and sports. Bad for phone calls!

I got this set with two purposes: workout while listening to music and to take work phone calls. The first one works great, I’m truly happy with that functionality. I can workout and listen to music. The second is a disaster. I tried several times to have phone call meetings withe the JBL Endurance Peak headset and I’m constantly asked to mute myself if I’m not speaking because everyone hears a noise or echo. It’s a total shame that I ended switching to my old plugged headset which doesn’t have that problem. I’d love to get a solution to this problem from JBL. I clearly wouldn’t get this product again if the problem remains.

First of all, let me state that I have always loved JBL products. They have always been high quality with a great sound. Based on my experience, these headphones have been a total disappointment. The left earbud will rarely connect with the right earbud, never if I am not taking them out directly from the charger. When I have been blessed with a connection, the sound is at best, muddled. Every time I turn my head, they will disconnect for a couple of seconds. What a frustrating piece of technology. JBL, I know you can do much better than this product!

These fit well, stayed on my head for all exercises, great battery life. The problem is charging. Left ear will charge easy, but the right doesnt. You have to like play for 20 minutes to try and get it to charge then hope it doesnt move at all. To many times battery would be dead, I loved the other brands, you could put them in the charging case then in your gym bag and be charged by the time you are at the gym.

I had these earbuds for about three months before they started giving me problems. The sound constantly cuts in and out. The left ear bud stopped working completely. The volume is very quiet, even on full blast. They also turn off whenever they feel like it. I tried reaching out to JBL and they were not helpful at all!! They kept trying to blame the issues on everything besides their product. Truly terrible experience. In my opinion, spend a little extra and get a product that works through a company with good customer service.

I have had these since my birthday in March. They were reliable for awhile but occasionally the left or the right didn't charge. Now, it seems they won't charge more than they work. It is so frustrating. I charge them all night and you don't know they haven't charged till I go to use them. I am ready to throw them in the garbage! I have a cheaper older Photive headphone that I use as a backup and they have been more reliable even though the sound isn't as good.

    3rd pair, always stops working

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I like the hook idea, since regular pods fall out of my ears. But i'm really wasting time and money on these. Can't believe how dumb I am to be on my 3rd pair. First pair i returned. right side stopped working. UPS/Fedex lost them. Bought a second pair thinking maybe it would work better this time. Had same issue AGAIN. right side stopped charging. This time I had Geek Squad protection. Went down and got a new pair from the covid drive through tent. But they charged me $15 to re-join the geek squad protection for this 3rd pair even thought the 2nd pair was junk. Can't believe i didn't argue that. Waste of more money. Within 1 day the new pair will not charge on the right side in the charging box station again. It will never get a red light. And I can't pair it to my phone anymore since I can't get the pairing flashing lights to come up. Even though the right side still has some power. PLUS I tested out this pair for use on phone, and I heard from others they could not hear me well. I think people could hear me fine on first pair. So maybe just ANOTHER lemon pair. Very disappointed in JBL. Sound quality was "ok" when they were working. If I wear a beany or headband to get them to stay deeper in ear, the bass comes through a little better.

I received these for a Father’s Day gift and have had issues with left ear piece charging from day one. I can’t even get it to charge anymore and these are basically brand new. I’ve had to delicately adjust them to get a connection so they will charge and then they lose connection as soon as I walk away. Very poor design if that’s how they work straight out the box. Pure waste of money and time.

Crummy charging. Nothing more frustrating than heading out for a long run and ear buds quickly ping that a battery is about dead two minutes in even though you were sure to put them in the charging case hours before. But guess what! JBL will send you another pair once they receive your pair, decide your pair is in fact, crummy, and then you might get them in another two weeks.
