I wanted to test these for a long period of time before reviewing them. As an avid runner whose also active duty military I've been struggling to find a good set of BT earbuds that stand up to running and sweat. I believe that search is over. These earbuds come with a charging case and 3 sizes of cups to ensure they fit properly, pretty standard stuff. They also feature a unique auto off feature which I really like (ear clip touches the ear bud) and they have to be returned to the case to charge. Performance while running, I'm not disappointed. I run in between 12-15 miles a day and these earbuds have performed well under those conditions. They're not affected by sweat and stay comfortably in ear for long runs. The only drawback is there is no deep bass, not a real problem for me since I listen to thrash metal but that's about the only drawback I could find.

    Finally, the earbuds I need

I am a long time Beats customer. I have owned easily 30 pair of powerbeats3. Most were sent to me from apple. I have bought them 5 or 6 times. They have always been the only Bluetooth set that doesn’t fall out of my ear when I run. I have tried others JBL, Bose, Sony, and many others but they all die from my sweat or fall out of my ear after the sweat starts flowing. I was using the x4 from Jaybird and using the over ear wear. After they were stolen while I was traveling, I had to get some new earbuds. These were on sale so I tried them. They sound better than the powerbeats3 and as good as the x4s. They are the most waterproof earbuds out there. I have tried them all and broken them all. These are the earbuds that sweaty runners who want a loud clear sound should buy. Negative- they disconnect after a minute of pause. They are tough to reconnect without the case. The touch system- you have to read the instructions. You will not figure it out without reading the instructions. Bulky charger case Phone calls are not great because they are mono

Headphones sound pretty good (would like a bit more bass), pair easily, and stay firmly in ears. However, half the time the right side doesn't charge at all, and I literally purchased the headphones A WEEK AGO. Very annoying to hear the "low battery" sound from the headphones after they've been in the charging case for hours.

Most Comfortable BT Headphones I've Used

Context: I am not an audiophile and use my headphones in 2 settings- at work to block out the cube farm noises and when running by myself for an hour or more. At work (& any setting tried thus far) the JBL Endurance Peak headphones are absolutely the most comfortable I've ever tried. Others I've tried start out OK, but begin to annoy me after 45-60 minutes+/-. The sound is not as rich as others I've tried, and if you're priority is lots of heavy bass there may be better options. Again, in all settings, I truly enjoy the wireless aspect- having a cord of any sort hit my neck and/or get caught on something is a true downer! For running/working out: the aforementioned comfort and lack of wire are appreciated. Of much greater importance in this setting- they don't wiggle, feel loose, or distract me with constant thoughts of "I'm about to lose $120 headphones" or, worse yet, put a marathon PR in jeopardy because I have to stop and pick up my headphones. I've been dubious of this retention aspect of true wireless headphones, but the JBL Endurance Peak headphones have shown it can work.

Bought these today. Best wireless in-ear headphones I've tried so far. Sound quality suits my taste perfectly. Touch controls are convenient but still getting used to it. Charged for ten minutes in the car and they were ready to go! Fits comfortably even after an hour or so. No worries about them falling out like the first, and last pair I had without the hooks. One fell into my car's console and I couldn't get it out. It's probably on the SE\SW freeway somewhere. I would definitely recommend the JBL Endurance Peaks.

    Lost cnx and faulty charge

Three issues. Won’t play for 4 hours after two hour charge. Looses connection when phone is within a foot. And controls are iffy. I lost my 3yr old pair of Jabra Bluetooth headphones. They charged in an hour and gave great sound for over 4 hours every time. They also never lost connection unless I was laying on the phone or headset. I actually reached out to JBL to make sure I was doing everything right and I was. I am stuck with them since I have had for over 15 days. And threw away the packaging.

The sound is clear. There is almost no bass, which makes them sound cheap to me. Like the charging and the case. Comfortable to wear. Might be taking them back due to the cheap sound.

    Buy these!

I took a little bit of a gamble when I purchased these because the reviews were mixed. After having and using them, I’m almost positive that the source of some of the bad reviews is people that don’t read the manual. A lot of reviews had complaints about charging, however mine charge fine. One said that they woke up to them on “10%” after charging all night but they must have mistaken the LED lights on the charging case as the battery life of the actual headphones, which isn’t the case. The LEDs on the charging case are indicators of the battery life of the charging case only. There are separate LEDs on the headphones that indicate their battery life specifically. Anyways, this is a great product for the price. They don’t hurt and never move or fall out of your ears and the sound is also very good!

The JBL Endurance headphones (headset, they have a mic too!) pack great sound in a small package. These headphones are a separate right and left devices. The Right is the master. You can use them in mono mode by just using the right one. The headphones are stored in their own sturdy battery pack case. The headphones are rated for 3 hours of use, I got a little more. You can return them to their case to charge them again until it is out of juice then you will need to plug it into a standard USB charger, not included. You can use the included cord or a standard micro USB charging cord. The sound is great with a wide dynamic range and good base. These are the perfect exercise/ sport wireless headphone, they fit well in the ear with the provided various sizes of interchangeable earpieces. Each headset arm rests firmly behind the ear without any discomfort. The controls are build into the earpiece surface for various functions based on what you are using them for IE music, phone etc. The only problem I had is accidentally pausing music or video when trying to increase the volume. Each headset turns on when you pull the ear support away from the main earpiece, they are magnetically attached. They turn off when you magnetically reattach them. This is great as there are no buttons or switches to wear out or let things in. In my opinion these are the best headphones I have ever had for exercise or travel use.

    Below Expectations

I had a pair of Bose sport ear buds that I lost while moving, so I got these on the hope that this reputable company would have a decently priced truly wireless earbuds option. As it turns out, you get what you pay for. I was not able to charge my right earbud (which is the master earbud) for almost a whole week. This was due to the charging case being so finicky as to how the ear piece is sitting on the small charging prongs. They only started charging after I left the case open and took off the gummy pieces that go in your ear. I've learned that even closing the lid on this case can cut off the charge so I've begun to leave it open. They've been such a pain, never buying jbl again. Definitely spend that extra hundred on a product that you know you will be using often. I don't even feel right selling these in case the next person has trouble with them too.

Great Sound, Secure Fit, Excellent Battery

Short learning curve on getting them in right was the worse bit. The sound is exceptional, as expected from Harmon, fit securely no matter the activity. There are more comfortable headphones, but these offer a confidence in wear that outweighs the pressure discomfort. If you keep the case nearby, the combined battery life will be more than enough. In addition, the controls take some getting used to but work well once you’re familiar. Planning on buying a second pair for my wife, who is scheming to steal mine.

Overpriced earbuds that are terrible for phone cal

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Pros: - The audio quality for listening to music/podcasts is great - Comfortable - Stay in place well during exercise Cons: - Only the right earbud can be used alone. The left earbud requires the right earbud to work. I prefer to wear one earbud at a time so I'm not totally oblivious to my surroundings. Also so I can charge one earbud while listening to the other. - Call quality is TERRIBLE call audio cuts out regularly making it difficult for me to understand anyone talking to me and people on the other end of the call have trouble hearing me even if I'm in a quiet room. - Price, I bought a pair of $30 Blackweb earbuds that are superior to these in every way except audio volume.

They sound good, but reliable performance isnt there. Ive had to reset these and re-pair with my phone, so many times, I am getting to a point that Im not happy when I have to use them. It spoils trying to listen to podcasts or music. The left one shuts off, they power-down unexpectedly and recently a new frustration is the left one wont work with zoom meetings. Yes, all the settings I can access are correct. Yes I heave “turned it off and back on”....I cant return because its past the return date. They are comfortable and sound great, but the frustrations with these are leaving a very bad taste in my mouth and Im getting turned off by the brand.

I bought these and right out of the box they were very easy to use. Sound quality was good, just what I was looking for. All features were on point. I'm a sweater so I need ear buds that can stay in and these did. Then one of the ear buds just stopped working. I liked them so much I thought it was just a fluke and got another pair. Less than a month later, with the new pair one of the headphones went out again. I would not recomment buying these if you value money and time. I think I will be going with the Air Pod Pros.

My wife purchased this for me as a gift. I charged the earbuds and charging case, paired with my phone and tested them. Great sound and everything worked as expected. I listened to the earbuds for a total of about 3 minutes. Today I went to the gym, powered on my earbuds and the left unit powered on but would not connect to the right unit therefore no sound at all form the left earbud. Unpaired and repaired with my phone, reset the earbuds, charged again and the left unit still will not connect. Called JBL and they told me to go back to Best Buy. Apparently there is nothing that can be done to reconnect the left "slave" with the right "master". I will be returning these earbuds...

I use these for working out and running. They fit snug with no worries about falling out. The sound quality is better then the others I have purchased. The one tap to turn off/pause is a great feature for running/working out when you need to stop or talk to someone! I have purchased two pairs in the last year..one for me and one for my daughter!
