They fit snugly into your ears with the "twist" insertion and hook securely over your ears. The sound quality is better than average and they provide ample volume in noisy environments. I wear mine when mowing the lawn and have no trouble with hearing my music over the engine noise. Where these go wrong, at least for me, is the touch controls. Everything seems to be done with a series of taps, or slides, on the right earpiece. The taps work well enough for stopping and advancing tracks but the slide for adjusting the volume; well, I have yet to make that work. Not even by accident. I have, however, made the track advance when I didn't want it to. The best feature I find is how well they stay in my ears. If the controls were more functional (useful) I'd give them a much higher rating.

I wear them riding my bike and they sound good. They don't block all outside noise either which is what you're looking for, you still want to be aware of your surroundings. If you can find these on sale, snag a pair.
