Main issue is that they shut off on its own and that doesn't work for me. I need my Bluetooth to stay on and connected so I do not miss calls or notifications. I see why they were so cheap.

This is mainly to save battery power and cannot be disabled. You will need to keep on playing music on your source device if you don't want it to shut off. Biggest complaint is that after having them not even a month the right ear quit working so there for won’t be buying anything jbl again. This is just my complaint about the product.
