Nice budget BT earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, very happy with my purchase. The fit and battery life are strong points. These buds don't stick out of your ear too much and last a good 8 hours as advertised. Sound quality is as expected for a BT earbud within a $70 budget. MSRP for $100 is a tad pricey for what you get.

Disappointing for JBL HEADPHONES
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently have a set of JBL wired earbud headphones and they are great. Highs are crisp and the Low End thumps. I was excited to get the same or better sound with the new Wireless Bluetooth Everest 100's. Bluetooth: I have an iPhone 6 and it was very easy to pair the E100's Bluetooth to the phone. Construction: I would have liked thicker gauge wire for in headphone construction due to my planning to use during workouts. Construction seems a little dainty for any type of rugged treatment. The earbuds are comfortable and fit well in the ear. Phone Mike: The phone mike works very well. Friends who called me said my voice was very clear and sound quality excellent. Sound Quality: Very, Very disappointed with sound quality. Highs are not crisp and the low end is weak. You can get the same low end sound from the headphones that came with your phone. To be fair in my assessment I listened to different genres of music from country to jazz. Same underwhelming experience. Value: I got the E100's at the cyber Monday sale price and to be honest they aren't worth the sale price, and they are definitely overpriced at $99. I too will be returning the E100's. The sound is not representative of JBL's legendary sound quality. Review Opinion: Save yourself the bother of buying and returning the E100's. Wait for the E200's upgrade (hopefully there is one) or try another brand of wireless Bluetooth headphones. Sorry JBL, the E100's don't make the cut.

Great buds for working out!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently started working out with these Everest Buds and they feel extremely light! I must say that I had trouble with my right earbud but I just had to adjust the rubber piece a little bit to conform to my ear shape... The cord is long enough so that you can run while having it behind your head (rather than in front of your face) which is terrible whenever you go to a drinking fountain! All in all, a great buy for exercising (can't go back to a wired headset again)...

Thumbs Down
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always been a Fan of JBL, purchased these Yesterday and I have to say that I'm very dissapointed with them. I will be taking them back to Best Buy. NO low end (Bass), I put my phone in my pocket and it turns off and on. Not loud enough for me and defintely need more Bass.

Save your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.JBL has really become one of the best companies for audio equipment but man do these suck. These sound like headphones you buy at a corner store. I was looking for the bass in the headphones but couldn't find it, I even checked the box. The other pair of JBL's I have are much cheaper and the sound quality is 100% better although they are wired but I rather deal with a wire instead of these. Save your money. I let my mom try them and she said "turn it up some more" the volume was at 100%. I'm taking these back. They were so bad that I have to get my money back like right now. Never do reviews but these forced me to. Just know that these shouldn't cost more than $20.

sound quality.. mah...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.just purchased these headphones and I am quite disapointed. Sound is just avg. Overall product seems good but I wouldnt pay more then 20 dollars for these. Treble is good but no bass. I had songs that I know have a good bass line and it was like it didnt exist. Also the sound volume was low. I check the sizes and made sure it was custom to my ear but nothing I did would really make a difference. I even tried cramming the ear peice just to see if the sound quality would improve but it didnt. I would not recomend this product at all expecially for the price

excellent set
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is maybe my third set of Bluetooth headphones...(im forgetful) But these fit my ear the best. I primarily use them for working out or travelling. And they are the best of both worlds...snug and stay put, but also good for extended duration while having them in during traveling. Only not 5 star because the range of the bluetooth is quite short, noticaebly different from some of the other sets ive owned. I cannot leave them at a machine and walk and grab something from anymore then 3-5ft away without them cutting out.

Great for making phone call

garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The left bud fit fine but the right would not fit no matter which size of parts i tried. When I tried to use the volume control, the earbud would fall out of my ear. The worst part is the volume. At maximum volume, it was not very loud. Bass was non existent. Plan on returning. Do not buy these. Maybe I got a lemon because I cant believe the good reviews!

Awesome headphone. But they have an issue.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphone but the issue I have is with the latency. There is a huge delay when trying to watch videos with these headphones which makes it super annoying to watch anything. I thought that the issue may have just been with Netflix but unfortunately that wasn't the case. If you're going to watch videos go corded!

Lag apparent when watching video
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as I can tell, nobody has mentioned this issue so far in the reviews so I'm writing this in the hope that it helps someone save the time of buying/returning this product. The idea of a wireless headphones was very appealing to me; unfortunately it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Long story short, if you'll be using these headphones exclusively for music and conversation then they are a solid choice. However, any attempt to watch video on say your phone or tablet (regardless of platform) will be met with a audio/video sync delay of at least 0.5secs. I've done some internet digging and apparently the problem is common with bluetooth headphones and unfortunately there is no solution. There may be some products on the market that significantly reduce latency (those supporting something called aptx) but this is not one of them. Fair warning...that the JBL or Best Buy won't give you.

Posted .JBL has now optimized the software, so the lip-sync problem is no longer an issue. Video materials can now be watched with proper audio timing.
The tool can now be found under the specific product page, under the section “Manuals & Downloads”
Once you access this page, please scroll down and click on “Manuals and Download”, then choose the HID Sotfware to download.
Once the tool is downloaded along with the software update, you will find the following PDF file which contains detailed instructions on how to use the update tool.
Important Note: You must download the software to a Windows PC only, MAC is currently not supported at this time.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this one because I know the brand JBL. The earphone works nice. But the mic is to low, the people complain is to low and break signal with nose. I drive truck trailer some areas cut the mic. About hearing is great no problem at all. My phone is iPhone.

Workout earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light weight, great for working out! If you are going to sit around, and listen to music, these are not for you. You need high quality over the ear headphones, that will appease your lack of motivation.

Good Sound but annoying features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall I like the sound and fit of the earbuds. The rubbery feel of the cord tends to stick and cling to skin and fabrics. very annoying because they pull out of your ears and i have to constantly readjust the cord. Not happy about how quickly they shut down or go into power save mode. it is very annoying to have to power on and sometimes reconnect to my iphone. According to a comment in the Q&A, this feature cannot be changed.

Posted .Thank you for your review. We appreciate all customer feedback.
To keep it on when you want to play music next time, simply turn up the volume of your iPhone as high as it goes, without distortion setting in. Now control the volume on your EVEREST 100 to get the level you desire.
Lastly, we're sorry to hear if you're having issues wearing them. The EVEREST 100 comes with 3 sets of ear tips and secure fit ear tips that you can play around. To secure the earphones in place,it is recommended to put the cord behind the neck.
If this doesn't help, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Clear sound, bad connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is clear as it can get, but the connection sucks really bad! You can't go 10 ft away cause it starts to break up. They stay on your ears really nice and they don't hurt. But one side is way to heavy for the other side so you have to have both on or other wise they would just fall off.

Unimpressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound and fit, but the connection was no good. When I bent over with my phone in my waistband, the connection would get lost. I ended up exchanging this item because I felt that they were too expensive to not work exactly how I expected them to work.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our product. Reception of Bluetooth can be heavily influenced by surrounding environment. If your product offers stable streaming performance when phone and bluetooth device are in the same room, with no large objects blocking the line of sight, then your product is performing as specified. Please note that bluetooth cannot pass through your body. For best performance, have you device located on the left side of your body.

Blue tooth headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I got this for my wife for your birthday because she had been talking about wanting one. I think she was really pleased for the most part as long as she was listening to music while doing pretty much anything like running or travleling but what it is not good for is watching a movie or Netflix. I guess there is a delay in the Bluetooth so te sound doesn't match the lips.

Not that great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not very good for the price, unfortunately. Quality just isn't that good. They stay in real good, though. Just wish they sounded better. Especially in the low end. And I'm not a bass-head

They're okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My biggest complaint is that the person who I'm talking to on the other line can hear all of the background noise and not hear my voice. Also the earbuds are too big for me ear. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I do like that they automatically turn of when not in use though.

Very Short Lived
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased these headphones, and 2 days later, I am already regretting my decision. I thought they were awesome, fit well, and had great sound. Then as I was trying to change the song, I couldn't use the pause/skip/power button. I couldn't turn them off until I plugged them in, which automatically shut it off. Then they wouldn't turn back on. Now I have to return them.
