These are ok earbuds they sound ok but I prefer the skullcandy over these. What I don't like about these is that the sound is not balanced like the skullcandy also I don't like how they feel on the ears.

I am a big fan of JBL speakers and the sound quality it delivers. From subwoofers to home theater speakers, I have no regrets. Earlier I reviewed the Under Arnour Wireless headphone with heart rate by JBL. The JBL Everest delivers the same crisp and smooth sound quality but unlike the UA headphone (5 hrs), this battery life last longer up to 8 hrs. The control buttons are flat which makes it harder to “feel”. Like any other brand out there, this comes with various ear pieces and then some. It has multiple buds and ear piece where you could mix and match. Another thing I like about the Jbl everest is that it feels lighter than my other wireless bluetooth headphones and its comfortable to wear. I highly recommend!

These headphones, compared to others that I have tried, took a much shorter time to find the right combination of ear tips and make them fit comfortably. They come with a decent assortment of tip options, only bummer is only one combination works the best, so in the future, when these eventually wear out and tear, or get lost, I will have to switch to a less comfortable tip. The sound on these were great! Compared to others I have tried in this price range, they beat out the competition. (I will say I have a $30 pair of bluetooth JBL headphones and they sound nearly identical). The base and tremble sounds good, don't sound muddy nor like they are cheap and lacking. I tried several different genres of music and they were all strong. Noise cancelling seemed to be better than other competitors options as well, I used them outside and at the gym and barely heard much around me at all. I was also impressed with the range/distance it can still stay connected at. At the gym I like to leave my phone at the machine while I go grab a drink of water or get a towel to wipe down the machine and my cheaper jbls never skip, another competitors pair at this price point skips a lot, but these did not skip or briefly disconnect at all. I also like the quick controls to change songs or answer a phone call, I wish there was a little less button presses involved to skip songs, but not the end of the world. You have to press the middle button twice to skip a song, and 3 times to start a song over or go back. My only complaint is that they do not come with foam ear tip pieces. I have always liked foam better than silicone tips. Foam is so much easier as you can squish them down and put them in you ear, and when they expand within 5-10 seconds, they stay in better, as well as cancelling out noise better. It boggles my mind that more headphones don't come with foam, but instead use these silicone ones that do not fit as well. I also wish it was possible to use these headphones without the tips that stick into the upper part of your ear. I tried it because my other JBLs do not have that tip and they are more comfortable, however with these, the headphones do not even attempt to stay in your ear without that top nub.

Great sound if properly fit, but limiting design

Summary: Take your time to find what fits your ears properly and they sound really good and might even be comfortable. Call quality was crisp and clear, only drawing complaints from people about noise and choppiness if I was talking while driving with the windows down -- something I wouldn’t normally do anyway except when pestering my friends and family for sake of a Bluetooth headset review. Unfortunately the design incurs limits on being able to use them “1 in/1 out” that are too great for me to find them acceptable for daily use or to personally recommend them. But if you either a) never turn your neck or 2) just can’t imagine why you’d ever use these “1 in/1 out” then they might work better for you than they did for me. I'll flesh out these areas below. Sound: The JBL Everest 110 can sound quite good so don’t settle for using the default ear hooks and gels before taking time to try the other sizes and see if you get better personal results. I tried every possible combination and it turned out the only way I could get respectable depth of sound is if I used the large gels and no ear hooks at all. Anything else resulted in weak sound. As an aside, I found my personal best sound result was obtained if I didn’t use any of the included gels at all and instead replaced them with Skullcandy gels from another headset. I’m not stumping for Skullcandy here, it’s just an example that when it comes to ear gels that give you a personal best result you might find that experimenting may be rewarding. The bottom line is that if you take the time to get optimal fit the JBL Everest 110 will reward you with solid, deep, and immersive audio. If you find the sound lacking I can almost guarantee you that proper ear fit is the issue, so it’s worth it to get right. Comfort: With the included ear hooks they were noticeably more comfortable for long term wear, but in my case there was no combination of ear hook that didn’t alter fit and compromise the sound. Since I use these primarily for music I had to ditch the ear hooks in favor of sound quality. But the Everest 110 buds are quite large and heavy compared to “normal” buds and not having the hooks to help carry and distribute the weight meant all the holding power was provided by the in-ear bud and long term comfort was less than optimal. I managed to wear them all day for personal music listening at my desk, but I had to fiddle with them every 30 minutes or so to alleviate discomfort. I’m sure using the hooks would have alleviated this discomfort considerably but in my case the sacrifice in sound quality was too great to accept so I opted for superior sound over top comfort. Design: One thing I like is that the JBL Everest 110 is so physically minimal for a Bluetooth headset that it can easily be rolled up and put in your pocket if you want to completely stash them away but still keep them with you -- If it starts to rain or you’re sweaty for example. And being able to keep them dangled around your neck at-the-ready when you’re not actively using them is simple and convenient.. But where I found the design weak and inflexible is that, although I normally listen to music with both buds in, there are many times a day that prefer to have just one earbud in and leave the other bud out so I can hear ambient sound -- say when I’m driving, or when I’m listening to music at work but need to keep an ear out for my name to be called or to hear my desk phone ring. In that case the design of these is such that whichever bud is “out” will tend to slowly pull the wire tight and -- usually within just a minute or two -- results in an awkward pull on the bud that is “in”, becoming most evident when you turn your neck to look around when driving for example. This is true no matter which is “in” and which is “out”, but is noticeably more pronounced when it’s the right side that’s “out” because it has the controls, is slightly heavier than the left side, and thus tends to pull more and more rapidly. All-in-all I found this one flaw to really soil the rest of the usability for me as there are just too many times when I need to transition from dual to one-ear listening and these just don’t play well that way -- you pretty much have to have them either both in or both out, or the weight of one side will pull the other side taught. In one case the drag of the "out" side managed to pull the "in" side out of my ear when I simply turned my neck to look at something.

I would like to start off with the fact that these headphones are very very comfortable with the standard size insert on them. As with most in ear headphones these have replaceable inserts but honestly the standard ones that come on the headphones out of the box fit perfectly and where very comfortable compared to some other in ear headphones. The sound is good given the size and price range on the headphones but if i had any complaint it would be that the sound seemed to be lacking a little fullness. Mids and treble seemed OK but lows where lacking, but not so much that the sound was bad. They sound very good in fact if you don't typically listen to bass heavy tracks. As for the microphone that was in them its passable as a headset for your phone.

    Great Sound/Slight Comfort Issues

The JBL Everest 110 Wireless Bluetooth headphones are actually only the second pair of wireless headphones that I have used, with my first ones being the Bose Soundsport Wireless Headphones. As such, I was eager to try the Everest 110 and compare them to the Bose as they have a slightly smaller footprint on the ear. Inside the box you will note several accessories, including a Micro USB cable to charge the headphones, three different sizes of caps for the headphones, and lastly three corresponding ear tips for the actual round headphone part. Construction wise, the headphones do feel sturdy despite the thin cable that connects them. As for the cable length, I felt like it had a good amount of slack and definitely had more room on the cable as oppose to the Bose. On the comfort side of things, I was a bit frustrated initially with how they fit in your ear. For some reason, they kept falling out once I thought they were secured in. Ironically, it would always be the right speaker, of which I assumed because of the added weight of the volume control and microphone. After fiddling with them a bit, they eventually stayed place but on a numerous of occasions, the right speaker would eventually work its way out or just enough for the sound to change. I also tested them leaning my head towards the left and right and both would eventually work its way out. Thus, I changed the tips to the larger covers and the thicker ear tips (the default ones are medium). This was a huge improvement. Once the new tips are on, focus on pushing the ear hook piece up while slightly positioning the ear phone piece (where the JBL logo is at a slant). After a bit, the headphones did not move nor fell out when I tilted my head to each side. I recommend that you test all ear tips sizes because at first I felt like these were not going to work and was ready to write them off. Fortunately, the larger covers and its corresponding tips worked extremely well. In addition, I also tested the smaller ear tips with the largest headphone covers and that also seem to work as well (ear tips will fit all cover sizes). When I tilted my head, they did not fall out. Naturally, these will take some getting used to as the shape is a bit awkward. Nonetheless, they work and was extremely pleased after I switch the sizes. As for sound quality, I tested various genres of music ranging from classical, metal, rap, jazz, and dance music. All the songs I tried were from my personal CD collection encoded in FLAC. They were played off my Xperia Z3+ Smartphone as well as my Z4 tablet. Any sound enhancements were disabled as well. For the most part, I generally liked how everything sounded. With the Bose as my only comparison, I was pleasantly surprised on how well these handled bass orientated tracks especially when you see how small the actual speaker really is. On extremely bass heavy songs, they did rumble quite well. For me personally, I do not like an extreme amount of bass as some might, but on the songs I observed, you can definitely tell it is there. For me, I think between these and the Bose, they are fairly close in bass, but only once the JBL's are secure in your ear. On some songs, I felt like the Bose inched out ahead, while on others the JBL seemed to have a nice clarity to its bass and surpassed the Bose. It rumbled but it did not over mask the middle or higher frequencies and I actually heard some sounds that I did not on the Bose. On more instrumental tracks, I did notice really good channel separation when the songs transitioned from the left to right speaker and vice versa. Overall, I think most people will pleased at the sound of these. Classical music sounded excellent, and I could clearly hear most of the instruments. In comparison, I think the JBL 110's handle highs and middles a bit better versus the Bose. On a side note, I wish these supported the lossless APTX codec, but sadly they do not. In conclusion, I would say at its price these are fairly good and they do sound really good and are in some places on par or better than my Bose ones. After some frustration on initially setting them up, they do eventually become quite comfortable. They are light weight as well and once you find the sizes that fit your ears, you will almost certainly forget they are there. While I think my Bose might be a tad bit more comfortable, the JBL 110s are by no means horrible but do require some time to get used to them. Naturally, I think here the Bose design was slightly better as they happened to fit my rather large ears. Nonetheless, the JBL 110s get the job done once you fix those minor issues. Lastly, after listening to the Everest 110s for a few hours, I do quite enjoy them. As for sound quality, they really do sound amazing especially for such a small speaker. The bass was there and was not lacking as well as the higher frequencies. In addition, it did a good job of maintaining clarity throughout all the genres I tried. However, I would like to caution here that because sound quality is extremely subjective to go into these with relative reasonable expectations. For its price, I would say these do hold up really well and I do think most will be pleased aside from its initial odd shape and fitting these to your ears. Overall, recommended with some minor grievances.

These wireless in-ear headphones worked great on every device I tried them on. Out of the box, you need to charge them up a bit first. They come with a micro-USB charger and I plugged one end into my laptop’s USB port and the other end into the port in the headphones. As soon as you plug it in, a solid red light comes on to let you know it is charging. When it is finished, the red light goes out. I didn’t wait for it to get a full charge before I started to try it out. In order to turn the headphones on, you hold down the center button on the wire for a couple of seconds. If you have your headphone buds in your ears while doing this, you will hear a voice say “Powering On” and when you turn it off, it says “Powering Off.” After I paired it with my smart phone, the next time I tried that, the voice said “Powering On”, then “Connected”. To connect, I went into my smart phone’s Bluetooth menu and saw the headphones listed and clicked on the icon for them. Later to connect to my tablet, I went into my tablet's Bluetooth menu, then I pressed the “scan” button and the headphones popped up on the list. I'm not sure if I needed to disconnect with my smart phone and the instructions did not say one way or the other. Next I tried the other buttons on the wire. I pulled up a movie on my tablet and played with the volume buttons, then I pulled up a YouTube video on my smart phone and did the same. On both devices, the sound quality was superb. Absolutely the best I’ve ever had on earphones. Then while watching the video on YouTube, I had my husband call my phone. I was able to answer the phone with the center button and I was able to disconnect the call with the same button without having to turn off the video I was watching. I had him call again and I used the “long press” feature on that same center button which enabled me to reject the call. Lastly, I connected to my MP4 player and to Pandora and used the “Next Track” function (which is 2 short presses with the center key) and that worked perfectly. I also tested the distance I could walk away from my phone and when I had walked about 25 ft from my smart phone, my music started to break up a bit. This device comes with 3 sizes of ergonomic ear hooks and 3 sizes of mushroom ear tips. Changing them out is easy and you can keep the extras in the ziplock bag they come in. It also comes with a cable clip which can be used to adjust the length of the cable in the back. I didn’t find this necessary, but it is nice as an added feature. The headphones came in a box that is custom cut to fit the headphones precisely. What comes in the box: Headphones with 1 set of ear hooks and 1 set of ear tips attached; Ziplock bag with 2 extra sets of ear hooks and 2 extra sets of ear tips; Micro-USB to USB cable; instruction booklet and various other FCC and assorted warning and info booklets (written in multiple languages.) I found 2 minor “cons” with the product. (1) I wish it had come with a small bag to keep everything together. I’d at least like to keep the extra ear hooks, ear tips, USB cord and the headphones together (along with the quick start guide until I get used to the controls.) (2) The instruction booklet was very lacking. If I hadn't known enough about setting up Bluetooth already, I would have been completely lost. A search on the Internet did not find a better instruction manual. I suppose you could take your item into Best Buy and ask for help setting it up if you didn't know how. Another possibility would be to search for information on the Internet about your phone or tablet and how to use them to scan for available Bluetooth devices.

These are incredibly comfortable and stable in my ears. I have another pair from a high end brand that sound great but are clunky and have the feeling they will fall out even though they don't. The JBL Everest 110's are just the opposite. There is a soft touch removable cover on each unit that makes them glide right into place. Every part that touches your ear is easy to remove and wash--I like that a lot. Extras of different sizes are included as well. The actual earpiece is narrower than others I have tried, which makes for a less obtrusive but more snug and stable fit. Sound is stellar. Clear, clear, CLEAR! Everything you would expect from JBL. These are not noise-cancelling, so traffic noises and other sounds are audible, but even an audio book is immersive in the clarity. Battery life is the best of several BT phones I have tried. These WILL last the day on a charge. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate, also soft touch material. All controls and an LED status light are on a small bar separate from the earpieces, including the charging port. I highly recommend.

Just ok headphones. Sound is poor for the price paid. I have a $20 pair of skull candy with better, louder, and crisper sound. Very disappointed and wish I would have returned before return date ran out. For the price, and JBL brand, I would have expected a whole lot better product! Spend your hard earned money on something else.

These wireless in-ear headphones are very light, comfortable and affordable. They have decent but not perfect balance of bass reproduction for the size that they are. They include a charging cable, and several sleeves/earbud options to fit most ears, even the small ones. The one thing they lack is a carrying case. They provide 7 plus hours of use between charges. These are a nice pair of headphones, they include all the controls one would expect on the go. They are a perfect addition to the go bag, being so light and small, giving you the wireless option for where ever you find yourself.

    Headphones Lack Volume

These are my second pair of JBL headphones in this price range, and well I think they are high quality, well built headphones, I find the volume level on the headphones lacking. Following are what I see as the pros and cons of these headphones. Pros. First of all, these headphones are sturdy and seem well built. They fit in my ears very well and the cord between the two sides sits nicely on the back of my neck. Second, the Bluetooth works very quickly on these. While some headphones take several seconds to pair, these usually pair in just 1-2, and easily reconnect during each use. Third, the battery life on these is pretty good. The box says an 8 hour charge is possible. I have used mine several hours at max volume and have not gotten any battery warnings yet. Fourth, the quality of the sound is good. While there isn't a lot of bass, there also are no tinny noises like some of the cheaper headphones. Cons. The one thing I don't like about these headphones is the volume. When operated at maximum volume, I can still easily hear background noises and cannot rock out to the level that I would like to. For reference, I typically use Amazon Music from an iPhone 6. The same streaming on my much cheaper Bluetooth headphones is much louder (I only need to go to 60% to get to where these are on 100%). I have been looking to override the paired volume control but have not been able to figure out anyway to make them louder.

First off I love the gunmetal color and overall look of these earbuds. Fit is great as well. I can get a great seal in the ear with these. Took them out for a run and they stayed put. They are lightweight and barely noticeable as they sit around the back of the neck. As far as sound goes these sound good. Bass and mids are there but for me I prefer a clearer higher sound. That's just my preference but if you like more bass then these would be for you. Function on these earbuds are just like any other Bluetooth earbuds. Easy to control and connects to my phone effortlessly.
