Customers are positive about the Everest 300 Wireless On-Ear Headphones' sound quality, comfort, and Bluetooth connectivity, with many also praising the battery life and price. However, some customers reported that the headphones have a tight fit and lack bass. A few users also mentioned issues with the volume level. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the negative comments regarding fit and bass response.

Well balance sound. Comfortable earpads.

You will get well balanced sound from these JBL 300's. Not a muddy overload of bass but just enough for any type of music. Good mid-range for vocals, horns, etc. The highs are descent but could be a little brighter. By comparison, the lower priced JBL Synchos E40BT headphones sound a little brighter but don't have as much bass. The Everest 300's ear cushions are thicker and extremely soft and comfortable. They are cushioned more than the JBL Synchos line. The headband is padded but when it presses the top of my head long enough, I get a mild headache. I have worn these in the gym and even though they aren't noise cancelling, they manage to cut out a lot of surrounding noise. One potential annoyance...the headphones creak a little as the earpieces pivot/adjust to your jaw movements. You can hear the creaks. Note that the headphones do stick out a bit since they made the earpieces with the ability to move independently from the headband. Another possible annoyance...it's easy to hit the pair button accidentally. You have to remember the volume/pause is on the left while pairing/power is on the right. For $149, not a bad product. Better than the overpriced Beats Solo 2 for the money.

They are decent, but have some flaws

The sound quality is great, the battery lasts forever. They fold very nicely and look awesome. The flaws: There is a bluetooth sync delay, so you can only listen to music, no video unless you dont mind the audio being 1 second late. You have the option of wiring it in, but that really doesn't work for TV etc. They do not come with a case, so you have to buy one. Also, they do not work with the JBL app, so you cant even update them or tune them.

My husband bought me these as a Xmas gift because I was complaining that my earbuds were hurting my ears. The sound is excellent and the setup was easy. Mt only complaint is that after wearing for a while they do hurt my ears. Also because of where the controls are located, when you have to take them off for a moment or two you keep touching the controls either changing the volume or shutting them off.

This product is great alternative to many of the mainstream products. I searched for an alternative as the mainstream products didn't appear as durable as this headset. The design and durability confirmed my assertion. Great product.

Unsure how I like these..
First, the sound is great! It sounds wonderful with my music.
The issue I have with it is the functionality. I use my iPhone for my music, so I am used to having the iPhone buds. I hated the iPhone buds (since they hurt my ears) but I loved being able to control my music with it. I was told this headset would be able to do just that. What I found out was that when the headphones were connected via Bluetooth, I could use the controls on the headphones itself, but they only allow you to turn the volume up and down..no switching songs or what not. When the headphones were connected with the cord, I could use the cord to switch songs and pause, but could not use the volume controls on the headset.
Also, If I want to watch videos, you have to use the cord. When it is through Bluetooth, the lag is really bad..
I will be keeping these for a little bit to see if I am missing something somewhere..but if not, I will be returning them.

Just bought these - overall seem to be a good set, but I have lag between video on my ipad, and audio in the headphones. If JBL is seeing this review - can you tell me what's wrong...I mean lips move, and sound comes later. Lag.

Well, I couldn't get the head phones to connect to my son's ipad or my computer. I connected the headphones via the audio jack. The sound was really great.

Press and hold the Power Button for up to 15 seconds, until the headphones announce in your ear that they are in Pairing mode. Then you will be able to pair to the iPad.

I already had a pair of these for myself but I picked up the pink pair for my girlfriend. We use the share me function to share music between each other. This is great when you're waiting in line or on the airport or in an airplane what a cool feature, she loves them!

Bought these headphones mid May 2016 and used them for probably 30 hours total. They will no longer take a charge and are 3 weeks out of warranty so JBL will replace them with a reconditioned device with no warranty and I have to pay for return of useless headphones. Hope to get another year out of the reconditioned headphones and buy Bose.
