The JBL Everest 310 headphones are your average Bluetooth headphones. I enjoyed the sound completely and it is actually better over BT than using the cable. The fit is where I found the 310's fault. I could not make these fit without excess pressure on my ears and having the need to adjust every 2 minutes. Also, the materials they are made out of are hot and the cups do not breath. The JBL 310's are great for chilling out, not working out, just my opinion. If you are looking for a good, solid build headphone that will last with great battery life, get these. If you workout or are in the sun a lot, be ready to sweat.

These are really nice, comfortable, good sounding headphones. I paired them with a Android tablet and then wore them all afternoon. The bluetooth signal carried over all my 45 ft. house except for the corner of the bedroom that was behind three walls and a Internet Hotspot. The battery lasted over 5 hours and was still strong after this time. They are very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is ry good. The Quick Start Guide is almost unreadable. The printing is so small, I need a magnifying glass to read it.

Tested these out for a few days just to make sure I was able to give my honest opinion. These work well and sound great. Not quite as good as some much higher end and perhaps better known "quality" options, but the sound quality is better than average. Battery lasts a respectable amount of time (haven't had to recharge yet). I am able to walk a decent distance away from my paired device without losing connection or breaking up. For times when an in-ear option just isn't what you want I believe you'll find these to be worth having on hand.

I received my set of headphones for a test review. Initially I was supposed to receive the brown set, however, to my surprise I received the silver set (which I'm glad I got silver instead of brown). These JBL headphones are amazing. Nice clear sound. Easy Bluetooth connectivity to all of my mobile devices. Battery life is amazing. They came fully charged which was awesome. I would fully recommend these headphones to anyone looking for an awesome listening experience.

I'm very pleased with the JBL Everest 310 phones - I've got them on right now as I write this review. I'm listening to a radio interview via my Echo Dot and before this I did the dishes in another room to Parliament via my laptop, and let the dog out in another area of the house and they never dropped out. I'm not saying that these are audiophile quality, but these are just about the best sounding headphones I've ever had at this price point, with great balance, and so far they've given me a super experience with Praxis and Parliament. I wear glasses, earrings, and a oftentimes a headband and I've experienced slight discomfort after a while, and since they are on-ear they can feel a little warm, but I don't know that there are any on-ear or over-ear headphones that won't be this way for me. The cups are very soft. Pairing was quick and simple and i'm happy with the volume controls. All in all, these are basic headphones with some nice features and controls (audio power on/off notification, light weight, fast charging), but the star of the show is the sound. It isn't all aces - I do wish there was some indication of battery life. And so far there isn't a usable product manual. I don't know if I need a manual, but I might sometime. And I have relatively small fingers so it isn't a problem, but the buttons are small and might be problematic for some. Otherwise - highly recommended!

Like any other headphones, they are comfortable at first. This one though, seemed to last me longer before my outer ear starts hurting. Sound quality is not stunning but is crisp enough. Bluetooth connectivity is solid. It is light, which is a huge plus-- easy to carry around. Packaging is awesome too, although it is stylish and nice enough to be worn around the neck. It's nice to have product to bring around.

I've finally found headphones that I can forget I'm wearing! The sound is fantastic, the battery life is great, they look good and the controls are super easy to operate even with "big" fingers! As a plus...the inside of the ear cups are labeled "L" & "R" in big letters so no more searching to figure out which is which!

These JBL Everest 310s are my first pair of on-the-ear headphones, and since I am used to over-the-ear designs, I found these slightly uncomfortable during extended periods of use. I suspect some of this is due to what you are used to, in addition to ear shape and size of your head. I was surprised at how well they did block out external noises while wearing them (note that they are not active noise cancelling). While the fit and finish are very nice and all of the moving joints feel substantial, I was a little disappointed in the feel of the padded vinyl on the headband and on the ear cushions. A material with a nicer quality would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way to giving these headphones a more luxurious feel, especially at this price point, but I suspect JBL was trying to find a compromise between great feel and durability. The semi-hard carrying case they come with is of a nice quality especially when compared to the microfiber, drawstring “sack” I received with one of my prior purchases…at a much higher price point. The controls are clustered on the rear edge of the right side ear piece…right where you want to grab with your hand when putting them on, taking them off, or making a slight adjustment to their fit while wearing them. I found myself inadvertently turning them on or off as the power switch is a momentary slide switch. I would like to see the power switch moved to another location, or changed for a two position slide switch with secure detents to prevent accidental manipulation of the switch. Now the main point of headphones…how they sound. I’d like to mention that I received these in exchange for an honest review before I go any further…honest being the operative word. Keep in mind that I have quite a few other earbuds, in-ear headphones, and over-the ear headphones, and when I demoed the JBLs, I compared them against these others that I am familiar with. I find these to be only average in sound quality - I have heard better headphones, but I have heard many, many more poorer sounding devices. The JBLs were a little “muddy” sounding and lacking in fullness, but I am comparing them to my planar magnetic headphones, so it’s not really a fair fight. I made my comparisons with the headphones jacked directly into my home CD player and using nothing to alter the source material…straight from the player’s output to the headphones through a wired connection. Now I realize that the selling point of the JBLs is their wireless Bluetooth connection, but I wanted to make my comparisons as similar as possible. When I used them with my phone and adjusted the frequency response with an equalizer app, I was able to make them fairly decent sounding. Will these JBLs make some people happy…absolutely. Will others be disappointed…most likely. Make sure you get a chance to listen to them before buying, with music you are very familiar with, to make sure you are happy with them.

    Really Nice Headphones

I really like the Everest 310 headphones. Once the headphones are charged (USB cable provided), they paired very quickly with my Amazon Echo. After pairing, I turned them on to see how they worked. I was surprised at how quickly the music switched from the Echo to the headphones, faster than some other speakers that I have. The sound quality is excellent, for highs and lows, and the range of operation is very good. I went all over my house, up and downstairs with no loss of connectivity. In addition, they maintained connection when I went out onto my deck, which has been an issue with another set of quality headphones that I have. For the most part, they fit well on the head. My one issue is after wearing them for awhile they can get a bit uncomfortable, necessitating a slight adjustment. The other headphones I have are so comfortable I almost forget they are there; however, Bluetooth connectability is challenging when I'm out on the deck. That said, the 310 operating distance and sound quality is an acceptable trade off.

I have used several bluetooth stereo headsets. The JBL 310 is a very good on the ear headset that delivers adequate, not excellent, sound in an easy use to ue device. The pairing with the iPhone was simple and straightfoward. The ability to mange sound settings is not as straight forward as I have not found where I can adjust bass, treble, etc using the headset. This line does have an interesting feature where you can have another bluetooth headset (does not need to be JBL brand) connect to your headset via bluetooth and share what you are listening to. For the price, there are several options avaialble out there now and this pair should be part of your consideration. However, more management of the headset sound would be useful.

This new headseat from JBL are compact and it has a cool feature where you can share what you're listen to with other person that has another wireless headseat ( no matter the brand), just press the Share button and share your music with others. The battery stay charge for a pretty long time. This headphones come inside a nice leather carrying case. Take your phone calls from your mobile and listen to the clear sound with the echo cancellation mic. The only thing that disappointed me was the sound, it's clear but there's no bass sound like other brands, even after adjusting the settings on my phone the volume wasn't to loud and not bass. I would recommend this headseat for kids or teenagers that play games on their phones , computers etc.

I got the JBL Everest 310 headphones in gunmetal silver last week. Maybe I am just getting too old, but it took me forever to figure out how to open the box. Seconds away from just ripping them open, I final got the box to slide out from the outer shell and was in business. Once opened, I located the hard shell case that holds the headphones, along with the neon orange cable (seriously) and the remote cord for corded listening. I also located the owners manual and other safety paperwork. The manual is the fanfold type with more languages than are possibly on earth. After getting the once-over of the headphones, I familiarized myself with the controls on the headphones. The power on is a slider type, with volume up, play/call receive and volume down next. Beside them are the Bluetooth pairing and sharing buttons. These are all along the rim of the right earcup. Simple enough to use. The corded connection is also on this earcup. The charger port is located on the left earcup without anything else. Again, I thought the controls were pretty straightforward, but for some reason I tried multiple ways to use the power button to get them into pairing mode not realizing there's the Bluetooth button on there for that. That whole getting old thing again. It should be noted that the headphones automatically go into pairing mode when initially turned on. I put the headphones on to adjust them and that's when I found the only downside for me. Although they create a good seal and are almost noise cancelling, as these are "on-ear" type there was a lot of pressure on my ears. They became somewhat uncomfortable after a while, and I am not sure I could handle an entire three hour flight with these on. Next was the sound... Sound is very subjective, and to me these sound very good. Not really bass heavy, they tend to lean more toward a natural balanced sound. Movies were robust with good bass, but again, not overwhelming. 80s rock and pop music seem to be handled well, but classical music was a little overdone. That said, they sounded really good for the price point these are at. Having a couple of other brands to compare them to put these close to the top. Calls were clear and callers said the could hear pretty clearly. Wind was it's downfall, however. (Not many headphones can successfully work well in windy conditions). Overall, short of the pressure exerted on my ears (maybe they will loosen up over time) these JBL headphones are really good with GREAT battery life. Recommended. Good Shopping!

Because of the fact that I already have a top of the line pair of headphones (and a very good set of ear buds as well), I really wasn't expecting these to be anything more than a nice comfortable extra set of headphones to have around. I certainly didn't expect them to be better than my "good" headphones. Man was I wrong! These are without question the best headphones I have ever used! To begin, they come packaged in a nice box with a very nice travel case. Inside the travel case they include a USB to Micro USB charging cable (but no charging block itself) and a 3.5mm cord for use with non bluetooth devices. Instructions are included but honestly, you won't need them. Now for some reason some of the other brands bluetooth headphones (and portable speakers) that I have had at times have been a bit buggy with the connection. Not with these. Both my iPad Pro and my S 7 Edge phone picked these up instantly and the connection is rock solid. The battery life seems to last forever as well. Now as for comfort these are awesome. Very, very comfortable. Some full size padded headphones tend to be massive. These seem to have hit the sweet spot. Not to big, not to small. Even after an hour or so I don't feel any discomfort. And they are very sharp looking if that is something that matter to you. They do an excellent job of blocking outside noise. As for the sound quality I am truly blown away! These seriously have better sound than my "good" headphones from another maker that cost twice as much. Seriously! Clean highs with plenty of base. No distortion at all when you crank them up either (and they do get loud!). The sound just stays clean all the way thru. The base is probably what impresses me the most. Headphones often don't have enough base but that isn't an issue here. Honestly, if you are in the market for a good set of headphones you really don't need to spend more than the $199 that these retail for. They really are that good. It would be nice if they included a charging block but it seem like no one does that anymore so I guess it is hard to fault them for it. I guess they figure most people will either charge them thru the USB on their computer or will have a few chargers laying around anyways. Don't waste you time trying to figure out what set of headphones to get by trying to hear the subtle differences in each set. Just cut to the chase and get the JBL Everest 310's!

This pair of headphones is by far the best that I have used to date. They blow the competition away. (IMO). Not to heavy, connections to several bluetooth modules is seamless. Battery life is excellent, and if batteries are running low, the you can plug in using the supplies headphone cord and will automatically conserve battery use. The button controls however are a bit uneasy to work, and the supplied manual is pretty much useless unless you have a magnifying glass
