First off, these are On-the ear headphones, not over the ear headphones, but are pretty comfortable. The sound fidelity is very good, JBL usually has great sound and doesn't disappoint here. Battery life is advertised as 20 hours and I haven't recharged them yet and have probably used them 14 hours. These don't work with JBL app, and don't announce the battery level, so hard to know when the batteries are getting low. No usb Charger included, but not much of a con these days for someone who would use a Bluetooth headset. The controls, like just about any wireless headset where they are mounted on one of the cups, take some getting used to. Has option for corded use. Charge cord is Orange colored, hard to misplace that one. Soundshare is a novel option that worked well. Connect a second Bluetooth headset to THIS Bluetooth headset to hear the same output. Worked for two of us in bed watching a laptop movie with 3 year old asleep next to us.

I received these today and I must say, I am blown away by the sound, amongst other things. When I opened the box, I was shocked at the amount of care went into the planning and presentation of these headphones. The box was a nice box, solid, but inside is a beautiful semi hard case that protects these when not in use. In that case is a 3.5mm patch plug to plug these into non-bluetooth devices, and also a bright orange charging cable....orange is synonymous with JBL, cool touch. The headphones feel VERY solid.....no cheesy feel at all. Solid! And they fold at the ear pieces, and also twist from side to side. I got a serious feeling of solid with these, I cannot mention this enough. They aren't heavy per se, they feel like something that will last and provide decent sound. Okay, I charged them for a short time and fired them up. The ear foam inside has a big R or L for right or left, a nice touch for people who don't like looking for the little R or L. Also, they have a solid vinyl/leather/etc. that rests against your ears, not foam. That is important to limit outside noises. And it works well in this case, my ears didn't feel hot which is a worry with this type of arrangement. JBL/Harman got this right and that is important as you wear them for hours on end. Okay, the sound is truly amazing - not just amazing, crazy amazing. I have played all kinds of music on these, from Phantom of the Opera, to classical, to old swing, to classic rock. No disappointments from any genre's sound on these. The highs, and lows, are captured very well. And the best part is I feel depth in the music. This is not something to be taken lightly.....the depth provides a sound I've never heard in any headphones before. Wow, I cannot get enough of the sound from these. And I'm a nut about how audio sounds on speakers, headphones, etc. So, I don't know if there are any better headphones out there, but after trying these, I would not ever need to try to find out because they sound so good. I'm finding myself to be a real headphone person, vs. earbuds or pods. To be sure I mention any negatives, I'd mention there is no charger with these.....this is typical these days so I'm not disappointed, but wanted to be sure this is mentioned. Also, one small problem I found was on one of the earpieces, there is a pivot and a snap...but one of them would not snap properly. Upon close examination, I saw there were 4 screws, 2 on each ear piece, and one of those screws wasn't tightened down. I tightened it down and it was perfect, both sides working fine. Just saying this so you don't force it if you find it is this way for anyone. They are small Phillips head screws, very small. Would I recommend these to my best friend? Yes, and without any reservations. These are by far the nicest headphones I've ever tried and have to say I will be enjoying these for some time to come!

Disclaimer: I was given this pair of headphones in exchange for my fair an honest review. Normally, I’m the type to pick up the display model high-end headphones at Best Buy (or other local electronic emporiums) and while they sound good, I can't listen to them the way I'd want to - with my choice of music instead of the demo loop. So given the chance to listen to JBL’s new Everest 310 headphones with the listening material of my choice, of course I jumped at it. First, the unboxing experience. Saying this is a premium product is an understatement. You open the box to find the case for your headphones and a small box with an instruction guide. Inside the case, you’ll find your headphones neatly folded and ready to go. You’ll also find a micro USB charging cable and an aux cable that allows you to use these headphones as a wired pair - something I find necessary for “critical listening” (ei high-res sources like Super Audio CD, 96/24 audio files, DSD files, Blu-Ray audio sources, and vinyl). While listening to some 96/24 audio through a Cambridge DACMagic 100, these definitely didn't disappoint. One of the sources - a DVD Audio recording of a Nine Inch Nails concert - made me feel as if I were in the arena it was recorded in. But for typical listening, these headphones also connect via Bluetooth to your devices. I paired them with my iPhone 6s and was immediately wowed by the audio quality across the board; it didn’t matter how loud I turned the music up, it didn’t distort and sounded clean. Classical, hip-hop, rock, electronic, even country - there’s nothing these headphones can’t do over Bluetooth that doesn’t sound good, have terrific dynamics, and incredible detail. The sound is also balanced; some brands of headphones in this class tend to be very treble and bass-heavy, others tend to focus more on the midrange, but these have plenty of deep bass, crisp but not overly bright treble, and a vocal range that is matched and never overpowers the highs and lows. In terms of comfort, the on-ear design is what I favor, and these headphones definitely didn’t disappoint. Listening at high volume levels for about 3 hours straight while working and near-zero ear fatigue. Keep in mind these aren’t exactly light-weight headphones, but the padding both on your ears and on top of your head will help you stay comfortable. Also, there are plenty of nice touches to the headphones; among them are the L and R inside the cups to help you make sure you put them on properly. So are these worth it? Depends on what your needs are. but if you value a quality listening experience over all else, then yes, absolutely yes. They’re not perfect, but they’re a better option than pretty much anything around their price point, and even some headphones that cost $100 or so more than these do. Even though I was given these as a review unit, I like them so much that I would buy them. That's how much I recommend them.

I wanted 3 things from a wireless headset. First is great sound and these headphones were outstanding. I've owned others where the sounds is either muffled or tinny, these phones have a smooth and complete sound from bass to treble. Second, the head phones must be comfortable; or you just couldn't wear them very long. I found these headphones had all the right adjustments to allow you to find a very comfortable feel against my ears. I get headaches easily so I was elated that these headphones didn't cause a headache for me, when worn for hours either exercising or sitting at the computer. Most people won't get headaches so that may not be a factor for you but it was key for me. That brings me to the third requirement for me and that is that they stay put if I'm exercising a little and/or moving around my little man-cave doing hobbies. These headphones don't slip down such that you have to keep adjusting them every few minutes - this was wonderful for me. The controls are intuitive, with the normal play FF, REW and pause, you can also hit the 'S' button and sync with another headset to hear the same music - I don't always see that option. You also can easily connect with Bluetooth - most devices have got Bluetooth down pat now. The quality of construction is first rate. You do have a microphone so you can make calls on the cell phone and use the headphones as your speaker and microphone; calls were very clear and this is a really useful feature. A small thing but helpful, is that inside each ear cup it is marked right or left so you don't have to keep looking for the symbols elsewhere. You can also connect them wired if the battery goes discharged, and the cable with microphone is provided. There is also a charging cable and everything fits in a very solid carry case. The headphones also worked fine with iTunes on my PC. Well thought-out design, great materials and they work superbly, well worth the money.

These JBL Everest 310 wireless headphones are great travel companions. I used these on a recent trip and I have to say, for some on ear headphones they are quite comfortable. On the one charge I got over 3 days of listening enjoyment. The sound quality is quite good. They have great treble and above average bass. I was able to easily sync them to my cellphone and was listening in minutes. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

This headphones weren’t too bad, just not as well as you’d think consider how much they were. The mic on it to over the phone was bad though, everytime I used it the person I was talking with would complain how bad the quality was. Other then that it’s good for just music. But if that’s the case I’d move on to something else.
