Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Everest 700 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones' excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life. Many appreciate the reliable Bluetooth connectivity and strong bass response, while some users noted that the volume could be improved and that button placement is not ideal for all users. The lack of a carrying case was also mentioned as a drawback by a few customers. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the reported minor issues.

Really liked these headphones. Used for about 13 months and then wasn’t able to charge them. Still able to use with cable, but not as wireless.

I ended up returning them because they started to hurt my ears after a while. They didn't really go over my ears. Great quality, though!

Took them home, plugged in to computer and volume control did not work. Best buy would not return them and now im stuck dealing with JBL who seems to have elevated slow response and nonsensical answers to an art form.

JBL is a great brand, and the fit was nice. I didn't like the battery life. And there was no noise cancellation. I really wanted to like them, but I ended up returning them.

When listening to my discman thru the wire. The sound is dull. I turn up the volume and that helps. I haven't used it wirelessly enough to judge its performance.

I bought these for around the house listening, light yard work, cleaning, and other activities that usually work better with no wires. However, after digging, I found myself less than impressed. Pros 1. They sound pretty decent. They have heavier than usual bass, but the clarity is also pretty good. Sounds more natural than something like the Skullcandy Crusher, but more bassy than something like Bose QC35 or the Around ear Soundlink II. A good between for people who want to listen to something other than hip hop or dubstep, but still also enjoy listening to hip hop or dubstep. 2. They're solidly built. 3. Good weight. 4. I've worn these for 4 hours at a time without major discomfort. 5. The bluetooth 4.1 connectivity is good. No blips or drops on my LG V20 (Android phone). I hear they work slightly better on iPhones. 6. The bluetooth buttons function well. Good, clicky buttons. 7. There isn't noise canceling which I liked, but the headphones do a good job at keeping outside noises out. With no music, you can hear outside noise, but with music playing you won't hear much unless it's very loud. 8. Micro USB charging cable can be used in computers or wall outlets. 9. If you use the included cable, it has a little remote on it. Cons 1. These support A2DP V1.3 SBC only. That means they convert all audio files, no matter the quality, into the worst audio codec ever made by man. No AAC, MP3, or aptx (or aptx-HD)support. For $200, not supporting anything other than SBC is not great. Especially with Bluetooth 4.1 support which could easily handle all of those for a higher quality music experience. Instead, we're stuck with the same Codec support high end bluetooth headphones had back in 2008. 2. The buttons are on the back of the ear cup. Really easy to press them when putting on or taking off the headphones. Overall they sound pretty good when plugged in. I don't think $200 good but BT headphones are generally overpriced. However, on bluetooth, these suffer from the same audio compression problems as headphones 1/10th their cost. Aptx has been around for years, and A2DP has supported other codecs for a long time. There simply no excuse for these to have the bare minimum for the price they're flaunting. SBC for $200 is poor decision making. I would pass on these, honestly, until jbl puts out something that's even moderately recent. These could be sounded way better on Bluetooth, but they wasted the opportunity.

They felt comfortable in the store, but when I got to the gym I could not keep them on my head 30 minutes without having to take them off because of the pain they brought to my ears. Don't let these headphones foolyou they are not comfortable after about 15 minutes

    Impressed and Surprised

Wow - I didn't expect these to be so good! I tried several different wireless headsets including Bose, Beats and Logitech. I read review after review after review and the Everest 700s (NOT the Elite noise cancelling model) didn't appear much. I came across them on You Tube in a comparison of 5 headsets and the reviewer was really impressed with the 700s. So I found a few other reviews and they all gave high marks. They were on sale at BB for $149. I hadn't seen them on previous trips to my local BB because they are at the end cap of a different aisle, not with the other headphones on display. In fact I had to ask where they were. Anyway, I tried them and they sounded fantastic! And being on sale they were less expensive than other respected brands. From my experience, I found the controls, comfort and sound to be impressive for this price range, albeit I never tried anything more expensive than the Bose Soundlink Wireless. They look pretty good too. If you're struggling to find what you're looking for in a wireless headset and you haven't tried the JBL Everest 700s, give them a shot. If you had the same experience as me, I think you'll be happily surprised.

I bought these on sale for $152, I wouldn't have bought them at full retail value. Considering the MSRP I was expecting to be blown away but I wasn't. The audio is good, no complaints, just not fantastic. The bluetooth works really well. Sometimes I'll accidentally hit the the ShareMe button and that will interrupt my music and that's proving to be pretty annoying; there's gotta be a way to cancel it easily but I haven't looked it up. It also doesn't come with a carrying case, either, which is similarly annoying. If I was to do it over again I would have bought the Everest Elite 300 model, but I'm not unhappy with these at all.
