Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Everest 700 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones' excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life. Many appreciate the reliable Bluetooth connectivity and strong bass response, while some users noted that the volume could be improved and that button placement is not ideal for all users. The lack of a carrying case was also mentioned as a drawback by a few customers. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the reported minor issues.

Laid back sound, not for bassheads.

Light on Bass, Big on Natural Sound. Sounds a bit like the Bose QC35 but a not quite as good. Of course its a lot cheaper than the Bose. These are for Jazz, vocals and not the best for hip hop. Has that laid back JBL sound for the grown up crowd. The soundstage is decent for closed backs headphones.

I just both them today 11/24, took them home was amazed how good they sounded on music, paired them to my samsung 4k 55" tv and started to watch a movie, the voice dealay was way off, tried watching a movie on my samsung note5 same problem with voice time delay, tried my cheaper LG plus 3 others headsets i have, the sound was perfect,so Icalled JVL customer support, where they told me that's is normal that if i wanted it to not have the time delay to plug a cable to the headphones, well you know what i wanted to say, ill be back to exchange them for a BOSE or SONY Bluetooth headphones, i do hope that this was an isolated case

Purchased for daughter away at school as a gift. She loves the sound quality compared with other headphones she's had. Uses with her Android cell phone.

disconcerting lag between video and audio

I ran into the same problem many other reviewers have mentioned - when using this to watch videos, there is a noticeable delay between the audio and the video. The delay was present with both a newer device (an iPhone 6S plus) as well as an older device (a circa-2010 Toshiba laptop with built-in Bluetooth running Windows 10). Like another reviewer, I specifically bought the JBL brand because of my past experience with their high quality. Another reputation bites the dust...

JBL has now optimized the software, so the lip-sync problem is no longer an issue. Video materials can now be watched with proper audio timing.

The tool can now be found under the specific product page, under the section “Manuals & Downloads”

Once you access this page, please scroll down and click on “Manuals and Download”, then choose the HID Sotfware to download.

Once the tool is downloaded along with the software update, you will find the following PDF file which contains detailed instructions on how to use the update tool.

Important Note: You must download the software to a Windows PC only, MAC is currently not supported at this time. JBL

I bought these for my husband because he complained of ringing in his ears while working with some of the yard equipment. He loves them and no more headaches.

I bought these initially for vacation in July and loved them! BUT THEY HAVE QUIT WORKING! So frustrating. They absolutely won’t charge. I am hoping that I can exchange them for a different pair.

Good headphones but not very comfortable

I brought these and they sound AMAZING but they're not very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend these for an adult. Around the ears they are nice but on the top of the head they hurt after like 10 mins or so. 2.2/5.

Static in background, keeps shutting off

Everytime I try use these phones about 10 minutes it disconnects. I have to press the on button to blue way too much. Also, I don't see a noise cancellation feature anywhere (I have a mac). The static in the background is very minimal, but totally noticeable. You can't hear it though when music or whatever is not being played. The base is ok, but not the best. I would say these are worth much less than the asking price, even on sale (169.00). It also took me an hour and half for bluetooth to recognize the phones. Lastly, you can't use the phones while it's charging, and it does not last nearly 15 hours, more like 4 hours. I also notice stops charging after a 1 hour and you have to reset it again. The sound quality, when it does work, is not that bad except for the static, but there is every now and then a brief pause , due to interference or something I don't know. The earbuds, only 39.00 on sale, is much much better quality in sound. The headset is too tight. I'm not sure why they did this, but after a few minutes it hurts your head, it's so tight. The pear shape, with the bottom part being thicker, bothers the bottom part of the ear, and doesn't balance out the pressure from the top. There is also a message every 15 minutes when you are either playing or not playing something which pops up on my screen asking me to use the device. Every 15 minutes, an automatic voice on the headset notifies me to say sharing is available now. It interrupts music, movies, anything. I have bought many many headphones in my time, cheap and expensive, and this is the worse for the price. Last to note, when you press the top sound audio button, the whole sound shuts off. You can't adjust the sound from the headset.
