Poor sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these because I my old JBL headset finally stopped working. I thought they would be of the same quality or better but the sound quality when you make a call was very poor.

Overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought them on sale for about half the price. Still not worth it at that price point. Would highly recommend the Sony’s.

Great sound and price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound as good as the Bose noise canceling for a better price. My son (15) likes them so much he never takes them off.

Great until they stopped working after a year!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved them and they worked great for a little over a year then suddenly they stopped connecting to bluetooth and working. They would connect for a second without any sound coming out and then disconnect and would say "powering on". Same thing over and over. Fully charged, no bluetooth issues with anything else and tried them with different devices. I'll move on to Bose.

Finally Something New!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am tired of the same old headphone companies and their products. The JBL Everest Elise 750NC is a worthy alternative in a crowded category. This is what I would consider a premium headphone based on the price and features. Great for traveling or use in loud environment. Not designed for sport/workout wear. Pros: -Long battery life with fast recharge time -Foldable design with carrying case included -Noise canceling feature -Bluetooth connectivity -Detachable remote cable -Lightweight and comfortable for extended use -Completely customizable audio settings via app you have to download on you smartphone -High build quality Cons -You need the app to access the audio settings -Audio is very good, but not Bose level good.

Just Don't Have "It"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were so disappointing. The noise isolation/cancelation is pretty good and they feel okay but the audio is where they fall flat. Their sound stage out of the box is a lot like when you get footage shot in RAW. Everything is super muted, there's no processing. No life. You can tweak the settings with the companion app but it's not going to bring out the audio I'd expect from $400 headphones. Go with the Sony WH-1000XM3, or even the M2 instead.

JBL - Best Wireless Headphones Ever
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instantly blown away with the immersive sound delivered by the JBL Everest 750NC. These are now my favorite pair of headphones. As soon as I put them on and the music started playing I felt like I was in another world. With the JBL Everest wireless headphones I experienced my music in a new way. No other wireless headphones that I've used in the past deliver the same sound as the Everest 750NC. The JBL Everest 750NC headphones did not take long to charge once I took them out of the box so I was able to start listening to them almost right away. The setup is seamless (I use an iPhone 7). Simply turn on the headphones and select the connection from your phone's bluetooth menu and presto. The audio controls on the headset work great for adjusting volume, enabling noise cancelation, and controlling the tracks. You can even control/engage Siri directly from the headphones. The best attribute about the Everest 750NC headphones (besides the sound quality) is the comfort. They are great for traveling and can be worn for extended periods of time without any discomfort. The battery life is extremely impressive as well. 15hrs of use with noise cancelling enabled and 20hrs of use without noise canceling. The app is pretty basic, but it does provide centralized tool for all of the management of the headphones such as adjusting EQ and other features. You can create custom listening profiles as well to tailor the sound to your specific needs. These are now my favorite pair of headphones and I plan to use these for a long time to come.

Good Sound, Major Design Flaws
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first problem I had with the JBL Everest 750NC headphones was with the Bluetooth connectivity. It seemed as if the signal was dropping and reconnecting every second so that I was only hearing 1/2 of each word. I tried it on various devices and the result was always the same. I have Bose QC35 headphones that have no such problem connecting with the same devices. Therefore, I can only review these as wired headphones. Despite good sound from these headphones, I found that the more I used them, the more I found not to like about them. 1) You can only connect to 1 device at a time. I cannot watch a movie on my tablet and also receive a telephone call. This is a major oversight for headphones in this price range. 2) I find the ambient noise adjustments to be nothing more than a gimmick. You buy noise cancelling headphones to keep noise out and even when the ambient noise is set to zero, they are not as good as the Bose. 3) There is no way to know exactly how much power you have left. A light will flash when the battery is low, but in between you are in the dark. The Bose will tell you exactly how much power you have every time you turn the headphones on. I cannot comment on how long the battery lasts because I find that I am always charging them prior to each use since I don't know what power is left. 4) The control buttons are very hard to distinguish without looking at them. it simply takes too much time to figure out which button you are pressing, and the buttons feel cheap. On the positive side, I did like the sound (wired), And, the ear cups are comfortable. Due to the design flaws and the unusable Bluetooth, I cannot recommend these headphones.

Not bad, but hoped for better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In this price range I would consider these to be premium headphones. I have had quite a few different pairs of Bluetooth headphones over the past several years including Studio Beats, B&W P7's, Audio-Technica DSR7BT's and Plantronics Back Beat Pro's to name a few. Having said this I expected a pretty good set of headphones based on their reputation and having used the previous JBL Everest model. I'm said to say that I am somewhat disappointed in the overall performance of these. The sound quality at lower volume levels is pretty good and has decent clarity. The bass comes out really distorted and not really as tight as it should be. I downloaded the app and played with the EQ settings and found that turning it off provided me with the best balance between lows, mids and highs. The TruNote Auto Calibration in the app, actually made the sound worse, so I ended up not using it. The only way I could actually find to turn it off after it calibrated, was to turn the headphones off and then back on and the TruNote audio was off. I did like the noise cancellation within the app. I often changed the settings based on what I was doing so that I could be aware of what was going on around me, when the situation required it. The buttons on the headphones have taken some getting used to also. Instead of double or triple tapping the buttons to change the track, you have to hold the button for 3 secs. This is somewhat annoying and when you are wearing them, it is somewhat difficult to distinguish between the buttons. The headphones were certainly comfortable to wear for an extended period of time and I never got the sore neck or heavy head that I get with some other over the ear headphones. I do appreciate being able to use the line cord if the battery dies and I liked the carrying case also with the picture on it that shows you how to fold the headphones to fit them in the case. Overall, these are decent headphones, but for this price, I might consider some other options. I would recommend them for the comfort, good battery life and good noise cancellation. However, if you want good bass and easy toggling for volume and changing the tracks on your device, these aren't the best.

no worky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones will not charge so they don't do anything. There is no basic set up instructions available on line or in print except for this ridiculous tiny pamphlet so it took me hours of research and trouble shooting to figure out that it does indeed not work. It looks like this model has been discontinued so I will return it for a refund and buy something else. Not JBL. I have used there pro audio stuff since I was a kid but there consumer level stuff is very disappointing. I did hear the headphones with the wire connection and they are wildly inaccurate. The bass is grotesque , the mids are all mushy sounding and the highs are fuzzy. Musicians dedicate there lives to making great sounding recordings. JBL then destroys the music with there marketing team who thinks they can sell more units if they add more bass. Its like dumping catsup on sashimi.
