One of the better NC Bluetooth headsets...

I really like this headset. The noise cancellation feature is one of the better ones that I have tested. The NC is adjustable up to 3 different settings. They are very comfortable to wear and light weight. It has good tone and was pretty easy to pair up via bluetooth. There is an app you can download to your phone from JBL. I'm not sure what its for because I didn't need any adjustments on my headset. I didn't find any instructions in my box but everything was easy once I figured out how to turn it on. I think you will be happy trying these as I was.

The JBL Everest Elite 750NC has an Ambient Noise Cancelling feature that can be turned on or set up in such a way that you can still hear what's happening around you to a certain degree. This allows you a greater deal of flexibility in using it especially if you really want to have the full noise cancelling capability of the headphone or just a fraction of the capability. I Love These Headphones

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I'm pairing these currently with my Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and the sound quality you get from these is truly astounding! Every sound element is just about perfect. If you want base in a pair of headphones, I might suggest the Beats or even the Bose, but if you want great overall sound quality that is second to none, then buy these. The highs, mids, and vocals are where these shine. That's not to say the base isn't there either. The base fades in the background with most songs, being just enough to add the oomf you need to any song without being over bearing. I'd say these are the perfect headphones, but there are too things (not big) that could be better in my opinion. The noise canceling is there, but definitely nowhere near Bose level. Also the app on here is garbage. It's basically useless. Finally, JBL's website (where I was going to leave this review) doesn't allow real customers to leave reviews, so the brand deserves a knock for that. Still, with all things considered, these are a great pair of headphones.

    Excellent Features, Horrible Durability

I purchased my JBL - Everest Elite 750NC headphones in November 2017. I really enjoyed the sound quality, battery life, and all-day comfort of the headphones. I used them daily at work and when traveling. By July 2018, a crackling noise developed in the left ear whenever the unit was powered on. I contacted Harmon/JBL support and they provided a replacement in August 2018. The exchange process was very efficient. By May 2019, the replacement unit had developed crackling noise just as the original unit had. I've contacted Harmon/JBL support and the outcome of that discussion is ongoing. The features and comfort of the unit are great, but it's very frustrating that they don't last a year.

Connect issues! - Connect issues! - Connect issues! Nothing but connection issues. As soon as I got these headphone, I could not get them to pair with any Bluetooth device I had. I had to JBL support to get the issue fixed. I needed to use them for both my Android phone and my PC. The connections with the PC was the worst. Just about every time I had to go to many steps. Like, Shows paired but not working. Then un-install the device from Bluetooth. Headphone can’t be found to re-pair. Turn of the headphone, turn them back on and press the “Bluetooth” re-connect button (failed: PC sees the device but will not fully connect). This could go on for min.’s before I get them paired. Once paired, at times, it would lost all sound when I opened a website using audio (Facebook-PowerDVD-ETC.) Connecting with my cell phone, but still at times re-pairing was a nightmare. At time it would take a re-boot of the phone to fix the issue. This is just wrong. I have two other wireless headphone (LG ear buds and Skull Candy Hesh 2) that work all the time fine. Looks by the design, when I took walks the wind would be amplified. The controls on this unit are also worthless while on my head. All the buttons are way too small, and too close together. On the good side. They are very comfy. No ear dis-comfort. Sound is good. My last words would be. Don’t buy these for PC use. By the lag of support, as in documentation and support on their site. I don’t think JBL designed them for Windows. I don’t think JBL built the drivers for it. If JBL did, They did a poor job of it. If you only use them for one device (Android or MAC), you may have less issues.

I am quite pleased overall with these headphones after about 2 weeks of using them almost daily. Good manufacturing quality should be expected at this retail price, and I feel that these headphones are perfectly fine in that regard. I immediately found them to very comfortable. The ear cushions feel really fantastic - for me, they've stayed absolutely comfortable even after several hours of wearing them. During that usage time, I've been very satisfied with the battery life. I have, however, used them quite a bit with the auxiliary 3.5mm audio input cable (one comes as an accessory), and the headset is smart enough to turn off the Bluetooth radio to save power in this case. The Bluetooth connection itself has been pretty reliable. I only recall having a wireless connection to my phone drop once while using these. My previous pair of wireless earbuds regularly has frequent dropouts , so it's been very nice to have a reliable connection. Of course, robust Bluetooth performance is something I would simply expect from a very premium set of headphones. The noise-cancelling features are really the main reason to buy these headphones over a cheaper competitor. I have not used noise-cancelling headphones before, but I was impressed by how well the effect works. It completely deadens most surrounding noise. JBL's additional two adaptive noise cancelling modes are interesting, though a bit uncanny at first. Basically, these modes amplify some outside sounds, like people speaking to you, and mixes them with whatever you may be listening to while still muffling other noise. The "high" setting for the adaptive noise cancellation actually feels a bit too aggressive to me - to the point of over-amplifying voices. The "low" mode has a much more subdued effect, but is still a great mode to toggle on to engage in a quick conversation. I will definitely be using these headphones regularly for some time to come, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you're looking for a pair that is effective at canceling out typical background noise. The adaptive noise canceling is also a convenient and pragmatic feature on these.

These headphones come with a companion app that is more convenient for controlling the noise cancelling feature among other settings. Sound quality is top notch and design quality is sleek, durable and long lasting. I love how they fold in the included travel bag for easy portability. That's my selling point.

    One major flaw

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I loved everything about these headphones except for one major issue. They fit well and were comfortable, and the sound quality was great. The ambient aware feature is awesome (when activated, it allows you to hear various levels of ambient noise around you while listening to music, which is great with two younger kids). The fatal flaw involves the noise canceling. When the noise cancelling is activated, there is a high pitch noise in the right ear (sounds a lot like when a cell phone is too close to a speaker). You don't notice it when listening to louder music, but between songs or during quieter audio, it is *really* noticeable. I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing, but it seems like it's not an uncommon complaint. For as much as these cost, it shouldn't be an issue. I exchanged them for a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 35 IIs, and I'm much happier.

    Great but restarting issue

Great headphones, good quality sound, and better noise cancelling than beats but quality control isn't done well. This is my second pair; the first had great sound but it restarts every 10-15 mins (software updated fully) and the second has great sound but at high volume the speaker crackles and yup it's still restarting by itself. I'm using it on a galaxy s8 and a iPhone 6s and still same restarting issue. Auto off is turned off and it's not just shutting down it reboots. For a $300 (I caught a sale) set it should be much better.

Sound Is Fine - Instructions Are Just Hideous

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I suppose if I was 50 years younger and a committed audiophile setting these up would have been a piece of cake. Let's get right to it: Smiles: These paired instantly with my Bluetooth TV, a Samsung, which is the primary reason I bought them. They are light and I can wear them for several hours without discomfort. I have the blue model and they are attractive and compact. The sound is fine (not an audiophile), although I do not know how they'd sound with a more complex audio setup. Frowns: Good heavens, the packaging is just plain stupid. It reminds me of one of those Chinese puzzle boxes, Just keep digging and you'll eventually get to the headphones. The instructions are packaged separately in a thin box about 1/4" in depth. WHY? The controls are tiny and contain few useful identifiers, other than + - for the sound controls. I suppose you could check the instructions, but. . . . When you find the instructions they are another matter altogether. They are literally printed in 19 languages, all of them, including English, in microscopic typeface. I needed reading glasses + a magnifying glass, and what you eventually see is virtually worthless. At the top of the thin, flimsy instruction sheet is an Ikea-style setup sheet which is incomprehensible. All I wanted to do is turn off the noise cancellation and it took me about an hour to figure it out. Einstein would be befuddled. ( You need to down load the My JBL app to a smart phone, pair it, and work from there). As I do not use these for workouts I suspect they will have a useful life span. But whoever designed the packaging and worthless instruction sheet needs to be re-assigned a less demanding job title. Summary: Three stars for easy pairing and sound. Minus two stars for packaging and instructions. .

Out of the box the head phone connection was cutting in and out depending on the position of the cable. over time it keeps getting worse. Great sound when it does work in both ears. No issues with bluetooth and the noise cancelling features work great for plane rides but very poorly constructed. This is the 2nd model that I have and will be returning them under MFG warranty this afternoon.

So I normally don't write reviews but this one has got my blood boiling. The fact that you charge such high prices for headphones that stop working after two weeks of use is ridiculous. I am forewarning anyone please look at the review on this product and save your money. I purchase these from Best-buy hoping they would be a little better than your normal headphones in regards to the longevity...NOPE!!!. One side stop working after three weeks. I don't even want a replacement pair just my money back because it is obvious you make terrible products without quality assurance testing and then jack up the price. Unfortunately because I rarely take the time to leave reviews when I do I ensure that I publicly scathe you in such away that no one will want to buy your products or you make better ones that last. So you will see this review on every page that has your company name associated with it. So people know what type of defective, overprice, and unreliable products you are selling.
