I bought this compact speaker as a birthday present for myself. I would highly recommend this JBL bluetooth compatible speaker based on amazing sound quality. This speaker is the best. You wont be disappointed!. I love my speaker systerm. The speaker system is portable and is loud enought to hear throughout the house - *note, my house is barely 1000 sq. ft.

I have wanted a Bluetooth speaker for some time but hadn't gotten around to buying one. Then one day at work our conference phone went out and I had to use my mobile phone's built in speaker for a conference. It worked but wasn't ideal. I also occasionally stream a radio station I listen to from my phone but the built in speaker just doesn't cut it. So I started looking for a Bluetooth speaker and found the Flip 2 was on sale for 75.99 at the time. I also had a $5 rewards certificate waiting to be used so I thought "why not". I have no regrets what so ever. It is perfect for me and my uses. It is plenty loud. Does it have huge base? no. Would I expect it to? no. It sounds as good to me as other units costing twice as much. The case it comes with is also outstanding. I use it mostly on my desk at work constantly plugged into power so I can't really rate the battery life, but in the few times I have used it on battery it worked for the couple hours I had it on battery. So, yes, it does everything I bought it for with no issues what so ever. I would buy it again, especially for the price I paid.

Pros: JBL Flip 2 is small enough to fit in cargo pant pocket, comes with nice sturdy case to protect it from dings, charges fairly quickly, and has a very simple blue tooth set up. What's most impressive is this little guy is pretty loud and sounds really good - even on the beach, in backyard during BBQ, or a very large master bedroom. The best part is the Price -- you can't beat it.. Con: wish it had a longer charge.

My daughter wanted a wireless speaker and we came across this one on sale while in the store and grabbed it. Bluetooth works great and you don't have to mess around with any wires, and most importantly, the speaker sounds great. It delivers a good range of sound and can get to a decent volume if needed.

I bought the JBL Flip2 for my granddaughter's birthday. We tried it out and the sound was awesome. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. The sound is excellent for a speaker of its size. You can carry it anywhere. Battery life is good and easy to connect to any bluetooth enabled device.

I needed something that I could use at home that would be loud enough for my living room dining area plus something I could take with me if needed. This was perfect. It even has a case you can carry it in. It has great sound and it comes in several colors. Love it

Very easy to set up with an iPad or similar device. Can move it around the room or even outside while your computer or tablet stays inside. Definitely enhances music. Nice and compact. Packs a decent amount of sound. Great buy. I would recommend .

I actually lucked into this. I had been shopping for a Bluetooth speaker for awhile. Cost and sound quality were the most important factors. I shopped everywhere. Biggest problem was that you can't listen to most of them. I was at Best Buy shopping...my sister was with me. She mentioned that this one was "cute". I took notice with the JBL logo. Saw the price...fired it up. WHOA !!! I had no idea that like box could sound so good. Awesome highs and mid range. Bass is descent. You couldn't expect any better bass with the size that it is. It's not a 15in sub. I use it daily. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great sound at a reasonable price

i purchased this speaker so that I can have both good sound quality, without carrying a large speaker around the house. The speaker does give good sound quality, connects easily to blue tooth, and is ver compact. I recomend this speaker.

This great speaker has a great sound quality and Bluetooth range. Can be stand horizontally or vertical. Good battery life and fast charging time. Packs a punch for it size!!!!

Just got this the other day, so I have not tested all the limits. Here is what I noticed right from the start: 1. IT IS LOUD! even for a bluetooth speaker under $100 this sucker gets loud. 2. It charges fairly quick (the book says 3 hours but I think mine charged fully in less than 1.5 hours ) 3. It eats through battery as long as it is powered on, listening to something or not this sucker uses juice FAST 4. It is very dense... not heavy and not big but you just pick it up and you can feel the weight inside is very compact (makes me feel like this product uses high quality parts and is well made, but only time will tell) All in all I am sure this will suit my needs of having a small portable speaker and not have to compromise with sound... I mean it doesnt have the bass I get from bigger plugged in speakers, but no sound is lost in this unit otherwise.

My son goes everywhere on his longboard. He syncs this with his cell phone, places it into his backpack and jams all day long. This speaker is tiny and tough and sounds great! I like it better than The Pill. Don't be caught up in the name game -- at this price, this speaker will exceed your expectations.

Tried several other speakers before selecting the JBL-Flip2. The bass sounds full and mellow to my ears and there is still great clarity for the higher range. Only con to it is that the battery doesn't last even a full 5 hours of use as advertised which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Bought this after a purchase of another speaker that just didn't really have the quality of sound I was looking for. This one sounds as good as my stereo. Love that you can put in car cup holder. Easy to pick up phone and change volume from sitting in car with out having to look at it (thumbs up for safety), sound quality was best compared to all other Bluetooth speakers I have been able to compare it to, about 3-4 diff brands with similar size. It has cut out three times on me ,seemingly for no reason and has not played music from videos when my phone appeared to be playing them. Not sure if problem with phone or speakers. First thought was low battery but it happens regardless of battery charge. Also, people cant hear me if im on speaker phone from the wrong angle. I have to keeping turning speaker as I move through out the room. Not sure how this compares to other speakers with similar feature. im okay with it as it ticks many of my boxes and was affordable.

It is a powerful speaker very compact has great bass, also good for using it as Bluetooth to talk on the phone I would definitely recommend to a friend Plus a little carrying case for the speaker

I love the JBL - Flip 2 Wireless Portable Stereo Speaker, it has great sound quality, it is easy to use, I found it lasts about an hour with out a charge. I am very happy with this product!

I LOVE this speaker. It has such a clean, big sound, and I have yet to get to the maximum volume. The blue tooth pairing is flawless - I've had a lot of trouble with blue tooth pairing on other speakers, so I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of that process with the JBL. It also remembers the device, and automatically connects to the last device when turned on. My only complaint is the charge of the speaker doesn't last as long as I would like. If I have music playing in my home office, I almost always have to plug into the wall after just a few (3-4) hours of listening. For the price you can't find a better speaker!

I really like the size and shape of this speaker. It was super easy to use and has a great sound. It's an extra plus that I can connect with my phone. I'm really happy with it.

The sound is very good, the speaker fits well with any laptop computer that has Bluetooth capability. I like the speaker size and range of sound, it's very portable.

Bought this for my wife to use with her iPad when in the kitchen. She loves it! It connects immediately as one would expect with BT. The sound has a good range of highs and lows, especially given it has only one speaker/driver within it. A good range of volume too (so she can hear her shows even if there's lots of noise!). One thing that is intriguing me, is that the speaker switches on by itself for no apparent reason every now and then. Thus, sometimes when my wife comes to use it, its battery is too low. Overall though, a great product.
