The speakers in my Toshiba notebook blew out, so I bought this unit as a replacement speaker. Well, as I fiddle with it (every day), I realize it's not really the best use of this product. It's main intent, I see now, is to be used as a speaker/mike for smart phones. On a PC, the computer is always acting like it's the new kid on the block, especially in Skype, where you basically cannot use it for various reasons. Because it's battery powered, it shuts itself off when not being used after about 5 min., which is annoying, so then I have to give up a USB port for it to stay on..Even then, it shuts itself off after about 20 min. of silence. Sound quality is OK, but is certainly an improvement over what I had, but if I had it to do over again, I would have bought something else.

The JBL Flip produces rich sound that you would expect from a bigger speaker. It's wireless connection let's you play music from your phone or tablet. The sound fills the room with quality bass and treble!

This speaker has good sound quality, easy to set up and is very compact.. We enjoyed it on our porch while we were on vacation in Jamaica. It even includes a nice travel case

Exactly what I was looking for. Great sound for such a small package. Solid feeling, not cheap feeling. Battery only lasts about 4-5 hours, whish it lasted longer. Still, I bring this whenever I travel.

I bought this for my wife as a birthday present and she loves it. The unit is easy to use and delivers good sound quality and volume at half the price of other units that deliver comparable sound.

Great buy and sounds excellent, these actually sound better than the Bose in my opinion, I Own JBL from subwoofer in the car, I phone docs. These sounds gooood! Distance is great too for Bluetooth

This little speaker has some kick, amazing sound and very portable, I also like the fact that it will stay charged for a good amount of time, this will specially come in handy when going to the lake.

Needed a speaker for my dorm room without spending a lot. Thought the sound was great in the store. It did not disappoint. Sounds and looks great, takes up little room. Highly recommend!

Speaker is small but has good sound quality. Comes with a carrying case which is an awesome bonus. Overall well balanced sound, not too punchy of bass, and easy listening with this speaker.

This speaker exceeds my expectations. It's attractive, well protected by the zippered case, and has good sound for a little speaker. Loud volume is strong and not scratchy. Highly recommended.

I had this speaker paired to my iPhone and playing music within 2 minutes of opening the box, without even reading the manual. That easy to use. Plus, the sound quality is great.

Talked with a sales rep at the store and he recommended the Flip over the Jawbone which cost $50 more. Glad I listened to him. This speaker is clear and loud. Also very easy to pair.

Sound is great even at a room filling volume. Works very good on bluetooth, but does have a higher volume when hard wired. Works excellent as a bluetooth cell phone speakerphone.

Love the ease with which it pairs with my iPhone playlists! The unit provides excellent sound quality and I have been able to adjust the volume as needed. Would highly recommend!

It's perfect for playing my phone music and jam out to it! It's loud enough to listen if I walk to another room in my house. Once fully charged, it lasts a long time. Love it!

This speaker is amazing. It has such a rich sound, and is ultra portable. Very user friendly and holds a pretty good charge. Definitely top of the class in its price range.

The Bluetooth connectivity is very simple to set up and use on this. The sound quality is also above most of the competition.

I had the first JBL and great sound specially for outdoor or Picknik or at work. But this one is more better and improved. The only thing was the battery life was only 5hrs.

Got this speaker to use with my ipad. It was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee after I had selected a different speaker. Turned out to be perfect. Excellent sound, gets loud, easy Bluetooth connection. Also works as a speaker phone with my iphone. My wife liked it so much I bought her another one to use at work and in the backyard by the pool. Small enough to pack for travel and comes with a nice case to put it in.
