I wasn't originally looking at JBL products, however after the sales associate suggested that I listen to the Flip 3 I was very surprised at how good the sound was. It was a bit more expensive than I planned on but in the long run I am very satisfied with the sound quality and the purchase overall.

While it is expensive, this is a very good speaker with incredible sound and great bass. Definitely worth it

I won this speaker at a golf outing. With all the small Bluetooth technology out there, this is the best by far especially for the money. Great highs and I cannot believe the lows/bass that this speaker produces. Great value at a great price point. You got it right JBL!

I give it 3 stars simply because I have already exchanged one because the speakers seem to b blown out. My current one has also blown out even when played at lower volume due to the 1st one being blown. I recommended to a friend and his blew out as well. We work in a warehouse and its loud so we play it at its max but that shouldn't be an issue I had the flip 2 never had sound issues and I played it only at max volume. It looks great it sounds great but for some reason the speakers are blowing out im annoyed. I'd recommend it but be warned.

I own the Bose Soundlink. This is less expensive and noticeably superior! Do not hesitate, do not try to spend less - and unless you are going to $299 plus - do not spend more. This unit is excellent!!!!

Sometimes my Ford Sync system flakes out and is difficult to connect. When that happens, I just turn this on and it connects to my I-phone 5 right away. I listen to audio books during my daily commute, the volume and quality of the Flip 3 is more than adequate for that application.

The sound quality of the speaker is great. No doubt about this. Now, for the flaws: the range sucks and devices can only be apart from one another by 3 feet max. At 5 feet, the speaker starts to emit horrible static and the sound is broken up. I bought four of these flip 3 and tried them all with the same results. I also bought four because I was thinking I could link them together since the box says "wirelessly links MULTIPLE JBL connect compatible speakers together". What I did not know is that by "multiple", JBL means two. As of now, it is impossible to connect three or four speakers together. At $99, I expected better from JBL.

Great speaker. I use it in my office and it gives a great, full sound. Would purchase another for a gift.

This speaker has great sound and love the portability. Unfortunately, at 13 months the charge port no longer works (just past the 1 year warranty). Contacted JBL, was advised their repair centers do not work on them and to go somewhere else. Found plenty of others on forums with the same charge port issue. So it's a paperweight until I find a shop that can fix it.

I use this speaker for atleast 4 hours a day. Its really great with a long battery life.

You can't beat this for the money. The sound can easily fill a room and more.
