Adult owned. Not abused. Never got wet. Stopped working after two weeks. This was my second one - the first one still works well. This one? Piece of junk.

Looked for s speaker that was reasonably priced, had good sound. Checked out all you had at the store and was very satisfied with my choice!

The product display was not working so I was unable to demo it. My son has the larger version with great sound and volume. This smaller unity does not have the volume or bass.

This speaker is very loud and clear. With great bass and great battery life. I've had it for about 30 days now and Ive only charged it twice.

To begin, I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with the speaker. The sound seems good and has nice bass. The JBL connect feature where you connect other jbl speakers is also very smooth and easy to use. My complaint is with the battery life. There are two things I want from a portable speaker. Power and long-lasting battery life. I’ve owned the Boom, MegaBoom, the Marhsall Kilburn, the JBL Xtreme, and the JBL Flip 3. The suggested battery life of the Xtreme is 15 hours, of course that is only at 50% of volume and probably only playing music from the 60’s (no bass). The power seems reasonable behind the sound but I think its more focused on the bass, the catch 22 is that the bass is probably what drains the battery the most. I got about 4-5 hours battery life out it. I couldn’t believe the first time I brought it out on the boat it was already dead. My expectations for playing it at its loudest (so everyone on the boat can hear it) was at least 7-8 hours. I returned my Marshall Kilburn which was a great speaker because I read a review that the JBL was louder, and the water resistance was important for me as I bring it around water 70% of the time. However, the battery life of the Kilburn was great. I never once was able to drain the battery to where it shut off. What really surprises me is that the Flip 3 is nearly just as loud (minus the bass) as the Xtreme. My buddy who was with us on the boat hooked up his Flip 3 when my Xtreme died and I couldn’t believe it sounded just as loud. I immediately bought one to test out against the Xtreme on my beach trip this weekend. The beauty of the Flip 3 aside from its size and great volume it puts out is that it charges with Micro-USB. This means I can hook it up to my battery pack and give it 4x the battery life. Being that the flip was 1/3 the price of the Xtreme I returned the it and am keeping the Flip. In conclusion I’m keeping the Flip 3 for portable benefits and I purchased the Ion Job Rocker for power and long-lasting battery (50 hours!). I just think the Xtreme is over-priced compared to the Flip 3, but if battery life is not an issue for you then it may be exactly what you want. Maybe I got a lemon, but even then I’d rather spend 1/3 less for the Flip. The size of the Xtreme makes it less portable too, one factor I was willing to accept if the battery lasted longer.

Sound quality is horrible compared to the 1st jbl flip. The sound is very staticky.

The instruction for use were horrible. Had to use trisl and error to figure out howmto use.

I would rate 2 star for sound quality. The quality is not great as I expected for $99 bluetooth speaker

Sound quality isnt good. It crackles when you put the volume up higher.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a family member and man am I impressed. So impressed that I'm going to be buying one for myself. This speaker is small but the sound quality is extremely good. Is it Bose good? Maybe not, but honestly if your not an audiophile you probably won't be able to tell the difference. For the price, I really don't think there is a better bluetooth speaker on the market right now.

I didn't have a problem with how it sounded, it just wouldn't pair with some of my devices.

My beats pill out lasted this by far and took more abuse

This little speaker packs a big punch. Great bass & the sound is very clear. I use this in my office @ work where I stream music on my iPhone 6 during the day. I have to turn the sound on the lowest setting as I am on the phone quite a bit with my Purchasing position. I also like the fact the speaker turns itself off when not in use for a period of time.

This speaker isn't as loud as other brands and the quality is just ok.

Considering it's size, great bass, clear sound even at higher volumes. The instructions leave a bit to be desired. Very simple graphics, and it took me a few attempts to make the Bluetooth connection to a Surface running Windows 10. The round cylindrical shape also leaves it prone to rolling around a bit. Not surprisingly, the best sound quality is achieved with the JBL logo pointing in your general direction.

I did not like the loud noise it made every time it was turned on and off. It would play music from my phone, and then the sound would just stop coming out of the speaker. I returned the item.

Only had it for less than a month and the speaker went out. Started crackling and all static and quit playing music.

Speaker worked great for 4 weeks, now sound is all statically. Very disappointed.
