Good little speaker. Some are louder and have bigger sound. But for the price and size this one is hard to beat.

While I was initially hesitant, I purchased a second speaker to pair with a previously purchased speaker and I'm happy to say WE LOVE THIS OPTION! Now if I'm inside & my husband is outside, we can each have a speaker & if we want to listen to music, podcast, etc. together we can do so.

I am sooo very disappointed in the Flip3. I bought 2 because of being able to connect them and have "stereo sound." I should have paid attention to the reviews that said the purchasers hadn't been able to pair them up to their computers/tablets. The speakers would not pair to my computer nor my tablet. I went to the JBL site and upgraded the software, I went to Microsoft and made sure that I had all the software upgrades for the computer and still nothing. My computer recognized them, and showed them as devices, but just kept giving the error message that the necessary driver was missing. My tablet wouldn't even find them (and I made sure that it had the necessary operating system)... I have a pair of Flip 2s and love them for their sound and their ease of connecting. The Flip3s were returned. Disappointing at best!

Everything about the speaker is great. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS IT DIED AFTER 4 HOURS OF PLAY! Was not happy being it said up to 10 hours of play

The JBL - Flip 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker works great and has great sound for its size.

I was gifted this speaker and use it almost everyday. It was extremely easy to pair with my phone and I can hear it in all the rooms of my house from where I have it positioned. My biggest gripe is whatever I'm listening to will start skipping. I've left my phone in another room and the music is interrupted with skipping. The phone hasn't moved and the signal is strong. It gets so bad that sometimes it'll stop playing. I have my phone paired with my car and some earbuds and have NEVER had an issue with consistency. I'm not sure what the problem is but I am NOT happy when it does this. I'm only a few steps away! The only reason why I'd recommend this to a friend is because it's awesome when it works...

Again, JBL not so great as far as bluetooth speaker lineup. Overall the product is exceptional, but compared to other brands it does not line up, not even the price, I would expect to pay $ 50 for this product, no more.

We bought this for our son's christmas present and he's loving it. He uses it all the time.

I had the Flip 2 for 1 year with no problems, I was forced to exchange it for the Flip 3 when the charging port stopped working. I got the Flip 3 in late December 2015 and had to exchange it 2 weeks later when the speaker blew out. Then just had to exchange it April 2016 for an entirely different company because I was fed up with the speaker blowing and it wasn't even turned all the way up. (I was listening to Jhene Aiko, she has the softest voice EVER!) Doesn't come with charging block or protective case like the Flip 2 but costs just the same.

After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a good purchase as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I even left a good review for it myself. Now it's 3 months later and it just stopped working. It wasn't damaged or anything. It just stopped. What a waste of 100 bucks.

I gave it 2 stars for sound and portability - not good enough to make up for the fact it wouldn't pair to my laptop and it really needs a charging port for the price. I have Bluetooth on my laptop with the remunerator, etc. Finally recognized device, but would never pair even though it showed up, no sound. Sadly I had to return. All I could do is listen with my phone. It drained the battery quickly which would be a problem to listen very long. I tried JBL website and posted the question, read all the Q & A on there, same question but answer vague over and over. Even tried their FB page, no one was able to get my question answered in a more definitive way to get it to pair. It's not Best Buy's fault, I couldn't even get a chat going with JBL on their site. I spent days on end trying to do it and was frustrating then more wasted time returning it!

Great buy. Fabulous sound with such awesome clarity.
