Bought it during black friday for about $60 and it's one of the best purchases we've made. Rating reflects affordability and quality of the speaker. The fact that it's wireless and waterproof makes it convenient to take anywhere and it's pretty durable too. Battery goes on for long time before having to charge.

After 2 Bose BT speakers gave me problems, I opted for the JBL for 13 year old granddaughter. Sweet speaker, great sound, waterproof, STURDY, and easy to use. Good little investment and comes to the pool with us. Doesn't drop our Pandora like the Bose did. Good volume and good quality sound without distortion.

This speaker is the bomb! It pushes out sound like a boss! I previously had a Bose soundlink mini 2 and that sounded good, but the flip 4 is better. It’s louder sounds better, has great battery life, plus it’s way way louder than the Bose. The best thing this is, it’s cheaper!! Would highly recommend!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he was absolutely stoked about it. He uses this speakers at least 5 hours a day everyday. It sounds amazing and has a great battery life

There are other portable Bluetooth speakers out there but I loved this one because it's not too big, nor too small. The sound quality is very crispy and don't get me started on the bass lol The blue color is lovely, even more so in person. Plus it's waterproof xD

This product has amazing sound and it’s waterproof and easy to move and use ! Great for entertaining outdoor gatherings.

I love this little speaker, very portable, sounds great, and they say it's waterproof. I won't test that out, but I also won't sweat taking it to the beach or on a boat. Cannot wait to try it out on camping trips, so far, the battery life seems excellent! Only wish it came with a plug charger for the usb cable.

I have had this speaker for over a year and love it more and more each day. I have paired it with my cell phone, my tablets and laptop. Pairing is easy. Took this speaker to my family's house for Thanksgiving and was able to pair more than one device to the speaker so that family members could play there choice of tunes from their cell phones. I am not audiophile however, sound is crisp. The volume level is great! It gets loud. The sound level almost rivals the sound and level of my home speaker system. Love to use this speaker listening to DJ Twitch streams or DJ's on IG. I crank the speaker up and get grooving. The quality of sound, the design and ease of use is the reason why JBL has the reputation it does in the consumer market. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a portable wireless speaker that provides great sound at a great cost.

I was so impressed! The sound quality is GREAT!!! I have a Bose mini speaker and the sound of the JBL Flip 4 is just as good for half the price, plus this speaker is waterproof!!! I purchased the JBL Flip 4 portable speaker for my daughter as a gift for her birthday and she LOVED IT!!! We were so impressed of the sound quality that I purchased two additional speakers, one for my oldest son that went away to college and the other one for my Goddaughter as a birthday gift.

This is the third Flip our family has bought! The sound is great for a small speaker, light and easy to take with in the car or to the park or just move around the house. Not many buttons - which we like. Waterproof and has been dropped without damage. Blue tooth works easily.

Because I my work, I need to provide portable music for classes large and small. I have tried lots of speakers, and I have tossed most of them in the bin. I took a chance on getting a smaller speaker with bigger sound, and the JBLFlip-4 ended up being perfect for my needs. The music is nicer quality than several speakers that I spent 2 to 3 times more money on. The buttons are easy to see and use. I will be sticking with this brand of speaker in the future.

Great sound easy to carry. You can be the life of the party with this small speaker, very loud even I was impressed. Took it with me on vacation and used it everyday and if u get water on it still works (never fully dunked it in water just splashes).

Excellent battery life. Deep bass. Solid and hefty as well as waterproof, so you can drop it in a creek and pull it out fine. A little too heavy for backpacking if you are counting ounces... Nicest Bluetooth speaker I have owned!

good battery life, easy to use, easy to connect, easy to carry, not heavy but you do not buy if for this. u buy it for the great sound it provides. I like the bass and is good with high freq too. could be cheaper though. Before purchasing I compared it with Bose, Beats, and others. still pretty happy

The sound quality on a speaker so small is so good! Loud and clear and has good bass when I play this in my backyard when I want to listen to music while I’m doing a good workout, and it’s water proof as well!

This was exactly what I was looking for to add to an office set up for an extra level of sound for YouTube, iTunes, etc and these are perfect. Thick jbl sound in a perfectly smaller footprint. easy to sync, charge time is really good and doesn't take long to recharge.

This bluetooth speaker from JBL is absolutely astonishing. This is my second one I have purchased now. I am very impressed with the quality of sound that this little 16 watt (2x40mm) speaker offers. I spent a hour in the store comparing all of the speakers on display in this price range. I noticed a difference with this particular speaker, but the actual difference couldn't be realized until I brought it home. It sounds amazing. It is water resistant as well. I took it to the pool and I had everyone there looking for where the sound was coming from. It really does sound like a much larger and higher fidelity speaker than it is actually rated. Additionally, it can be daisy-chained with up to 99 more JBL Flip 4s. Now with two of them I can set up a pair as left and right channels, and that my friends is a whole other ballgame. It's amazing and will not disappoint. I highly recommend this bluetooth speaker system.

It is plenty loud, I use it in a hangar so distance is a must and it delivers. I also like that it's waterproof because a lot of my job ends up being outside during all types of weather. Great bass, mid, and highs as we listen to lots of different types of music. Great speaker.
