This speaker has excellent sound that projects in all directions. The range is very good. I took it to the far end of the house from the TV with no loss in signal.

The sound is amazing all through a wide variety of music from Jan and dean and The Beach Boys right through Marilyn Manson and Black Sabbath the sound is crisp and clean
