Thuddy duddy bass. Overall volume is loud but distorts 3/4 and up so what’s the point. JBL is now a Korean owned company so the days of real American innovation are long gone. So is Altec Lansing. Another junk company selling us junk.

I ended up returning one of them because the stereo connection was finicky. I still might return the one I have because of how bad it sounds. Surprising volume of bass for its size, but inarticulate and sloppy. Highs are too bright for my taste and midrange is not smooth at all.
