He could have the speaker by him turned up and we could listen to the TV at a normal sound level. Experiment failed miserably. The lag time for the speaker was way to much so we had to all listen to TV with the volume cranked up.

However, after having it a little over a month, the speaker has stopped working. It will not power on or hold a charge. This was my first non-Bose wireless speaker and will be the last.
